Live on Broadway, the New York Times calls it "the best musical of the century." The Washington Post says, "It is the kind of evening that restores your faith in musicals." And Entertainment Weekly says, "Grade A: the funniest musical of all time." Jimmy Fallon of The Tonight Show calls it "Genius. Brilliant. Phenomenal." It's The Book of Mormon, the nine-time Tony Award®-winning Best Musical. See it on Broadway today!
We wanted to see Book of Mormon for so long. Finally got it together and it was totally worth it. So funny, very entertaining, great night out with friends.
Side splitting hilarious from start to finish. Cast was amazing without a single week link or moment. A must see for anybody who simply wants to have a great time...period.
I have never laughed so much in my life . I had a stomach ache all night long ! Pure delight ! Totally Broadway delicious !! .... I would love to see again!
Really amusing. Great dancers, humorous. Made me laugh All the time.
We had a blast! It’s so funny, at times over the top. Don’t bring any children, even teens.
What a brilliant evening, the actors are awesome. I really wasn’t sure what to expect but laughed out loud for most of the night.
If you're looking for a comfortable venue and a great bank for your buck Broadway show, look elsewhere. If you're looking to spend $130 on decent seats to a show on Broadway that will offer you the pleasure of sitting in a position that will cause premature lower back pain because the seats are literally not wide enough for you to sit without twisting your shoulders at an angle where you're not pushing up against the people next to you (and i'm very average size at 5'10 180lbs), then you'll love this venue. If you love waiting in line for 20 min because the place cant accommodate everyone who wants to urinate, then this place is perfect for you. Ladies, you better be very aggressive when it comes to the bathroom break. My wife waited 20 min just to go back to her seat as the show started again. Most of all, if you love paying 130 bucks to see a mediocre show during which you'll laugh a few times at the slapstick comedy, well again, this is the perfect show for you! However, if you're looking to enjoy yourself, especially with a spouse or a date, dont go to this absolute tourist trap in an old dingy theater with overcrowded bathrooms and overpriced drinks with shitty rushed service to see a self proclaimed "funniest musical of all time". I've been to a ton of off-broadway shows and shows elsewhere that will put this show to shame. Disappointing at best.
The musical lived up to all its hype. We enjoyed it tremendously.
Awesome! I highly recommend. The play was hilarious - laugh out loud!
The Theater doesn't have a bad seat in the house! The play was awesome, but there were a couple of things that went a little too far even for someone as open minded as me... "The BABY topic". Other than that hilarious. We were in the balcony, which some detail were hard to hear due to the loudness...Other than that... great time!!
Laughed out loud from beginning to end. I’ll would definitely recommend this show to my friends
The Book of Mormon was a show my family and I have been looking forward to seeing for probably 10 years. The wait was well worth it! The show was as funny as we expected but the music and story were better than expected. It’s a great show in every aspect. We had a fantastic time!
Loved the story, characters, music and choreography in this beautiful theatre.
I saw this show 6 years ago and just saw it again. Many jokes (like having sex with a baby) are simply no longer funny. And in our post-Hamilton era, why must all the Mormons be white and all the Africans black? The cast did their best but the show feels dated.
The only downside as with most shows is the flow of the women’s restrooms during intermission.
I should've done more research about what exactly this play was about but because I was a fan of South Park for the first 10 years of it's showing, I thought I could handle the play easily. . .it wasn't so much the language, I swear like a truck-driver myself, but, some of the antics of the villagers was just too serious of subjects for me to laugh at. I was disappointed but I guess the best I can say is, after all these years, I can cross it off my bucket list.
Absolute hilarity of dark humor exposing the absurdity of all religions. Audio quality and clarity was an issue for my wife and me. Certain actors seemed to have vocals or equipment that made their lines at times hard to discern and enjoy. I feel like seeing it again.
We had great seats, row C. The show was fanatastic. I laughed till the tears ran fown my leg.
The talent was unbelievable, but so was the content. I was expecting crude humor and sexual innuendos, but they took it too far. I really enjoyed the music and vocal talent, but I feel the writers let them down. I wouldn’t recommend it, solely based on content.
I love the show. It’s a equal opportunity offender, so no harm no foul. Yes I would not take my grandmother, but it’s all in fun, and there is a sweet message. Sometimes you got to do things your way in the name of good intentions.
