Live on Broadway, the New York Times calls it "the best musical of the century." The Washington Post says, "It is the kind of evening that restores your faith in musicals." And Entertainment Weekly says, "Grade A: the funniest musical of all time." Jimmy Fallon of The Tonight Show calls it "Genius. Brilliant. Phenomenal." It's The Book of Mormon, the nine-time Tony Award®-winning Best Musical. See it on Broadway today!

I went to the 2 pm show last Sunday with my husband. We had both heard so much about this play, we were hoping it lived up to the hype! Happy to say It did for us!!! The cast was excellent and the story - hysterical. Many of the jokes were in the song lyrics - very clever and funny. It was a great show beginning to end - we will definitely recommend this show to our family and friends. Love the Broadway experience !!
Laugh out loud hysterical! I've been to nearly every show and this was by far my #1. Considering I vacationed in Salt Lake City this past year, it couldn't have been better timing. My jaw and mouth were sore the next day from laughing so much. The cast is also incredible and beyond talented. Nabulungi's voice is INSANELY beautiful. I am so happy I got to see the show!
Great show. Great cast. Super great writing. Laughed in every scene. A bit irreverent, but if you are OK with that, then it is hilarious. Well worth the ticket price. Enjoy!
We loved the play. It was so funny . non stop singing and dancing. The energy the cast had could light up the city !!
Had to see this twice, as you miss so much the first time from people laughing! Great play!
amazin, Funny must to see. this is a must see broadway.
One of the best shows I've been to. Absolutely hilarious
Ridiculously funny, full of energy and silliness. The Book of Mormon grabs you from the second it begins to the final bow. Some things you know you probably shouldn't be laughing at...or maybe should be slightly offended, but it's so funny that you can't help yourself. We loved every minute. Thank you Broadway!
There are better and funnier shows around. Overhyped and overrated.
Being fans of south park , my wife and I thought this would be great , actually it was magnificent !!!! We didn't stop laughing for 2 hours . Witty , well written , brilliant actors , I can't stress how funny this show is , I would go and see it again and again !!!!!!
Having been a longtime fan of "South Park" and recalling some past episodes of the Mormon experience, I knew this musical would be a riot from the opening number to the last. It never dragged-on; a quick pace. If you haven't seen it yet, you must put it on your list. And, out of all the Broadway productions out there...what would you rather sit through?
Had I known what this play was about, I would have not gone. While I am not Mormon- I felt the play was very disrespectful of those of the Mormon religion. I am surprised that a play could ridicule a religion so openly. If I could have left and been re-imbursed for the ticket, I would have. It was even more embarrassing to me that I brought a friend to this play. I would not recommend seeing this play. I wish I I had gone to the Lion King instead.
Waited a very long time to see this show and I absolutely loved it!!! Witty!! On pointe! Hysterical!! Great seats!! Fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So this was my first time in New York and Broadway. This show was my daughters recommendation based on her theatre friends, and my son and I had a great evening. I'm assuming this wasn't the flashiest show. Sets were decent but not over the top. The acting, and singing and dancing was excellent. But what makes this show, in my opinion, is who created it. If you've never seen South Park, or enjoy the show, possibly this isn't your show. If you love it, the nuances abound. It was irrevenant. It takes pokes at everyone. Would I go see it again? There are many more shows I want to see, but I can honestly say YES, I would. A great evening experiencing New York for the first time!
Loved every second. Even funnier having grown up as a Mormon (and subsequently left the fold), but anyone will enjoy this musical and its performance.
Took my husband for his birthday after a few co workers told him how great the show was. They were not wrong. My only warning is that the show makes light of some very serious topics. There were a few times I felt bad for laughing ( though I did it anyway ) Not for the Faint of heart !
Super hilarious! Must see in NY if you want a good laugh!
It was a great show ... Well written ... Great actors ... Original .. Blasphemous to say the least
Very amusing and great performance, definitely worth doing it again
