Very entertaining show. Not the bring your grandma type, but if you aren't easily offended you will laugh your way thru the show.

  • Absolutely loved the irreverent Book of Mormon!

    by LL4613 on 5/13/16Eugene O’Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

We saw the performance on May 8, and loved it. No aspect of the Mormon faith was off limits. The irreverence was refreshing!

  • Better choices than this show

by Nylulu on 5/13/16Eugene O’Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 2 out of 5

There were some funny bits but you lost me at F***you God song.

  • Book of Mormon, a book for everyone!!!!

by Indios on 5/13/16Eugene O’Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

My wife and I wanted to see a Broadway musical that would be lively, funny and mind provoking; Book of Mormon fulfilled all of these! No surprise why it won top theatre awards!

  • Hello!

by mmallia on 5/11/16Eugene O’Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Funny from start to finish. Lots of fun! Great cast,

  • Funny but strong sexual language and gesture

by JerseyGirllovesNewYork on 5/11/16Eugene O’Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

As I was not really aware of the content of this play, only that people said it is very funny and I would love it, I was a bit taken aback by the very strong sexual and stereotype content and right from the onset... No warming up. While it was funny it took me a while to digest the nature of the play... But then by the end it all made sense and understood the underlining meaning of it all. The actors were all very good and funny.

  • Maggot's in my scrotum!

by DebzNBell on 5/11/16Eugene O’Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

The show was great! Funny, music was very catchy, cannot get the maggots in my scrotum out of my head. My daughter couldn't wait to download the soundtrack. We loved it, they sure do pack a house. Made us smile. Keep up the great work!

  • Love, Love, Love BOM!!

by SBueno on 5/11/16Eugene O’Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Well written from beginning to end, pushed sensitive topics to the edge and really made us think about and even question some of our beliefs. You will begin laughing in no more than 3 minutes into the play and you won't stop until the very end. The actors are cast perfectly!

  • Very good, but not my all time favorite

by Hunboldt on 5/10/16Eugene O’Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

Very irreverent, perhaps offensive to some due to language and some visual imagery, some parts are hilarious. I didn't find myself humming any if the musical numbers the next morning, but it was a fun night for sure. We both preferred Kinky Boots which we had just seen before Book of Mormon, but it made for a special night for us anyway.

  • Book of Mormon so freakin funny

by Lesleylulu on 5/10/16Eugene O’Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

I am not a show person at all, have never liked one that I have seen yet, that is until this....The book of Mormon was so Blasphemously funny. If you are a devout Christian you would probably find it offensive, I however thought the entire premise was hysterical. From the moment the curtain rose to the closing act. The actors/actress did such a great job and the ratio of singing and talking were perfect , not to much song and when they did sing it was still easy to understand what they were saying.

  • BOM is as great the second time as the first

by MeloBee on 5/9/16Eugene O’Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

We couldn't go to NYC without seeing a show and BOM delivered an great experience as expected. This was my second time seeing BOM, but my sister's first time. We were both laughing so hard and the experience was made even better at seeing my sister have so much fun at a show I recommended when she said she didn't like Broadway.

  • Not worth the trip

by NYrker on 5/9/16Eugene O’Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

We absolutely love going to Broadway shows and were very excited to see the Book of Mormon because of the all the great review and the fuss. Unfortunately, it was just OK. Had its high moments and low moments. My husband even fell asleep a few times. Some jokes were uncomfortable to take and were offensive, many times crossing the line.

  • Worth the Hype

    by kek323 on 5/9/16Eugene O’Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

I have been wanting to see Book of Mormon for a while because I keep hearing from everyone that "it's hilarious, you have to see it". It always came highly recommended but tickets are hard to book so I figured I gotta see this. Well that's exactly how I would describe it. It's hilarious and you should see it. It's not one of those classic Broadway shows like Phantom of the Opera or Les Mis, but it's a fun time with modern day jokes, catchy songs, great dancing, and very explicit content throughout the whole musical. It's different, it's funny, it's well done and you should see it at least once.

  • Best musical ever!

by Anonymous on 5/9/16Eugene O’Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

We didn't stop laughing throughout the entire show. Talent abound and writing superb. In addition, the Eugene O'Neill theatre should be a landmark. So happy I was finally able to go see it!

  • Book of Morman not for those who lack a sense of h

by RCSPlus on 5/8/16Eugene O’Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Fantastic performance and fun loving musical. However, if you are religiously orient yes and offended by risqué humor with religious overtones don't go and give a bad review. See something else.

Sensational show! Absolutely loved it! Would see it again in a heartbeat if I could!

  • The Most Fun Night on Broadway!!!

by jaswimma on 5/6/16Eugene O’Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Worth a trip, worth the money. I haven't thought that about Broadway in a long time. "I believe" is still reverberating in my head. The audience leaves smiling. Just GO!!!

  • What a show!!

by Oponsopin on 5/6/16Eugene O’Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

This was great, the costumes, the singing and dancing.

  • Book of Mormon

by krislip on 5/4/16Eugene O’Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

I finally got tickets to The Book of Mormon and it was worth the wait!! The musical shows just how brilliant Trey Parker and Matt Stone really are. The subject matter my be offensive to some, but it is a satire, you have to keep an open mind!! I can't wait till I go back and see it again!!

  • Offensive

by dallasdog on 5/4/16Eugene O’Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 1 out of 5

Although the energy and enthusiasm of the actors was great, the subject matter and language was very offensive. I am not a prude. I laugh at potty humor and I've been known to say a curse or two if the situation merits it. But no matter what, I cannot imagine how female circumcision is anything but horrible!
