  • Great show - bad seating

by Theo on 3/6/20Eugene O'Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

Watched 3 musicals last week (Mean Girls, Chicago and this). Book of Mormon was the most entertaining but I really had a hard time enjoying it since the seats are so small - flying economy fells very spacious compared to this. I know space is precious on Broadway but then again the other 2 shows were on Broadway, too. Again, great show, very entertaining but I have no idea how really tall or bigger people than me manage to sit in those chairs for 2.5 hours. Would go again though :)

by Nora on 3/4/20Eugene O'Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

There is very mature language and content. Not fur kids under 15. For adults, it was very funny and the sets are nice.

Completely zany, original and enthralling. Defies genre description yet is a NYC Broadway show in the best tradition.

by Sand Man on 3/2/20Eugene O'Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

First time seeing this show (or any show on Broadway). Theater was great - very intimate with unobstructed viewing lines. Show was amazing - laughed out loud the entire evening. Would highly recommend this show to anyone.

  • Super funny

Play was great - but not appropriate for youngsters. Very funny. Seats sort of small

  • Racist, Bigotry, Sacrilegious, horrible

by Play Enthusiast on 2/29/20Eugene O'Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 1 out of 5

Depicted the Mormons as very shallow people and Ugandans as barbarians. White supremacist vs black uneducated. To depict God, anyone's, God in such a way does a disservice to our society. Who gives the middle finger to God. This play does not belong on Broadway. I now question the person who recommended I go see it. Never thought of them as so shallow.

  • Best night ever!

    by C. M. on 2/26/20Eugene O'Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

It was a smooth entry into the venue! The bartenders were amazing. The stage lighting was unreal. The cast could not have been better. Honestly, I knew exactly what I was in for, especially because I research events I attend, it did not disappoint! The Book of Mormon was even better than I expected. I read the reviews before going and loved all the one star reviews. They made me even more excited to see it.

    by L. R. on 2/26/20Eugene O'Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

Show was somewhat a strange kinda funny for me, I would not recommend for conservative minded folks. On the bright side, it was well presented and entertaining to an extent.

  • Hilarious and irreverent

    by Mark M on 2/25/20Eugene O'Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Hilarious and a great night out, but not for all. If you don’t like your religious construct challenged, then this is not the show for you. Very much like the movie Dogma, it challenges the silly constructs we build around religions, while still paying respect and homage to the great IDEA that is behind all religions...and that is to treat each other with love and respect. Wife and I absolutely had a blast, thanks for a great night of laughs!

  • Great!!!

    by K. T. on 2/22/20Eugene O'Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

This show was hilarious!! If you can handle some off colour humour, I highly recommend Book of Mormon. The singing and dancing were great. So so funny.

  • Excellent

by Iain McR on 2/22/20Eugene O'Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Took our 18th year old son for his birthday to New York and he wanted to see a broadway show so booked this. We had previously seen this in London a few years ago but new to him. He loved it - thought it was very funny. The cast where excellent, the timing and pace great and the sets clever. The story really highlights the lunacy of some parts of (all) religions in an hilarious way.

  • 5th time

by Emmy on 2/19/20Eugene O'Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Came to see it again, and did not disappoint! I can rewatch this musical forever and never get tired of it.

  • Wow

by Sarah on 2/19/20Eugene O'Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Eugene O'Neil theater Feb 17, this my first time seeing BOM but I was so impressed, this cast was beyond great. Elder Cunningham character so well done as well as Elder Price and entire cast was really on fire. Would see it again in a minute. It is very shocking at times but I think people know that going in if they have heard anything at all of the plot.

  • Happy

    by F. R. on 2/19/20Eugene O'Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

This was a very entertaining show. It made fun of of the Mormon faith and Christian faith in a taste full way. I have been seeing the advertisement for this show but I an one that doesn't like to put down anyone's faith. This was more of the struggles of people finding them self's. A must see show!
