The Black Crowes are leaving the bullshit in the past. 15 years after their last album of original music, the Robinson Brothers present Happiness Bastards - their 10th studio album. Some may say the project has been several tumultuous years in the making, but we argue it's arriving at just the right time. Call it brotherly love or music destiny that brought them back together, the highly anticipated record consecrating the reunion of this legendary band just may be the thing that saves rock & roll. In a time where the art form is buried beneath the corporate sheen of its successors, The Black Crowes are biting back with the angst of words left unsaid penned on paper and electrified by guitar strings, revealing stripped, bare-boned rock & roll. No gloss, no glitter, just rhythm and blues at it's very best - gritty, loud, and in your face.
Since The Black Crowes reunited in 2019, they've made a triumphant return to form with over 150 shows spanning 20 countries worldwide, celebrating the 30th anniversary of Shake Your Money Maker, the album that put them on the map. Upon their return from the road, they knew they needed something new to show for their lost time. The Robinson Brothers and longtime bassist Sven Pipien headed to the studio with producer Jay Joyce in early 2023 and the experiences of years past transcribed themself through the music as the band found their way back to their roots. And it's finally here - Happiness Bastards is out March 15, 2024.

Seen the Black Crowes many times since the early 90s The boys don’t disappoint Musically but short on performance time only thing that I was disappointed about 90 minutes, including encore at least give us two hours for the price of tickets these days especially in NYC. But still would see them again Great music always
The Black Crowes Absolutely KILLED IT Saturday Nt 4/27/24 @ RSMH in EVERY WAY POSSIBLE. It’s as SIMPLE as THAT !!!
About 2 hours of pure rock n' roll fun 🎸🎸🎸 Don't miss the Black Crowes 😎
$500 for 90 minutes says it all, it's sad to see this once great band get sucked in by the very same corporate greed they rallied against. At least Springsteen has the decency to give you a 3 hour show for his exurbanite pricing. This may well be the last time I see TBC, that being said they did look and sound great.
This show was terribly rushed and short only 1 hr 25 min. For the expensive price i felt like I was fleeced bad. Back not very ling ago when they changed 40 bucks would not complain as much. They barely seemed interested in anything but getting out of dodge. Considering this was NYC radio city big stage, they should be ashamed. They closed on an obscure Reed song snd ran off stage. I am done with black crowes eventhough have seen 20 shows over as many years.
How can a rock show end at 10:30? There were so many more songs they could have played… what a shame…
The Black Crows were absolutely on point on Saturday 4/27/24 at Radio City Music Hall! The venue is amazing - they sounded amazing and the energy was fabulous!! Happiness Bastards is a long overdue fantastic album!! They're back baby!! YAY!!!
The Crowes sounded energized, tight and driven at Radio City Music Hall. They played a well-paced selection of hits and new material along with a cover (White Light, White Heat) and a deep cut (I Ain't Hiding) perfectly suited to New York. The set only lasted 90 minutes, which is on the short side for these guys, but they made every song count. The newer members of the group are gelling with Chris, Rich and Sven, and there was zero evidence of backing tracks on display - just a real band playing honest rock n' roll. They don't charge a thousand bucks for tickets, either!
Unbelievable show. The Crowes were at the top of their game and they couldn’t have picked a better venue. The atmosphere was electric. Seeing Things brought tears to my eyes. Chris Robinson is something special man.
