  • For the Love of Music & Each Other

by JTK on 3/4/23Keith-Albee Performing Arts Center - HuntingtonRating: 5 out of 5

One of the best concerts I’ve been too! Tedeschi Trucks Band is the epitome of true musical talent in every note, melody and lyric. Their dedication to the art and the symbiotic relationship of the human need for movement, rhythm and voice tether into a hypnotically deep sense of well being. Can’t wait to see them again! The opening act a young blues man from across the pond Jack Broadbent was awesome, a nice warm up. Thanks to Marshall Artist Series and the iconic Keith Albee for inviting them to Huntington, WV.

I bought the tickets for my husband for Christmas, and I had never heard of them. Oh, my goodness, I can't wait until we get to see them again! It was a great concert.

This is a must see show. 13 piece band with horns, keyboards, backup singers, and surprises at every turn. Real blues, great sound, and a wonderful atmosphere. Don’t miss this one!!!

  • Disappointing

by Foodguy on 7/31/22Tuscaloosa Amphitheater - TuscaloosaRating: 1 out of 5

Arrived during middle of opening act. Weather was overcast but all seemed well. During the second or third song of the second act, Los Lobos, there was lightening in the sky. The venue management team asked all to leave the site and wait until a storm passed. Unfortunately, there was no rain of any significance, but lightning remained in the area. The weather did not change for more than two hours. A number of the audience members left because it appeared that the lightening would continue. Around 10pm, management allowed the audience back in, but the weather was the same as it was when we were asked to evacuate two hours earlier…lightening was still in the area. Unfortunately I had to leave since it looked as the weather would not change. I understand why the we had to evacuate, but the weather was the same when the venue reopened. Bottom line is I didn’t get to see Tedeschi Trucks Band as planned. Very disappointed as to how the venue handled the situation.

  • Great once they got to take the stage

by Danielle on 7/5/22Tuscaloosa Amphitheater - TuscaloosaRating: 4 out of 5

This was the second time in a short period that we had tickets for events at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater. Unfortunately, both times we had barely gotten to our seats when we were made to leave for inclement weather. We sat for well over an hour searching on social media for the random message from the venue to allow everyone back inside, Having said that, the Tedeschi Trucks band was awesome and put on a really good show once they got on stage. We were hoping for a bit more of their older stuff but understand that’s how they keep making their money. Would definitely see them again if given the chance.
