  • TTB-one of the best touring bands ever

    by Rob on 6/25/21Winston-Salem Fairgrounds - Winston-SalemRating: 5 out of 5

The night was magical-the opening date on a long tour, with a band clearly happy to be out playing in front of people again. The band was incredibly tight, and the song selection was fantastic. The venue was decent, although because of the sun, we didn't get a video feed until the 2nd set. But the sound was good (better in 2nd set), there were beer and food options available, with plenty of port-a-potties. Gorgeous sunset, cool weather, great music.

  • A perfect landing…

by rickcasebeer on 6/22/21Rating: 5 out of 5

Our first live event in over a year and what a re-entry. Originally we purchased a pod of 4 before COVID restrictions were relaxed, it served as the perfect setting for the show. No one was crowding us and it gave plenty of space for us to just sit back, relax and enjoy this amazing night. I hope venues will consider keeping the pod concept in place, but I fear it may become a relic. Tedeschi-Trucks delivered a great show. Susan sang like a soulful songbird, while Derek provided the perch for her amazing voice to rest upon and ring out through the valley around Hop Springs Beerpark. Long guitar solos, driving percussion and the sweet sound of that Hammond organ were the themes of the night. It felt like more than a concert, the crowd was relaxed, the weather perfect and the music healed an open wound. It was a perfect landing back to live music.
