The show was really cute. My three year old was so excited to see her fav characters singing and dancing onstage. I would recommend this to anyone with a child 2 and up.
The show great. I brought my son and he was very engaged. We both enjoyed the songs and the performance was unforgettable.
My husband and I took our 2 year old to his first live show. He loves this show on TV and thought he would like this live performance. It was well put together, it has all the live characters and the larger screen to help with the performance. My son would not take his eyes off the event the entire time. He was memorized, he thinks they are real and cried when they left the stage wanting more! They did a great job and would highly recommend for small children. They sent a great message at the end of the performance. All the children looked like they were having a great time. They even shot off streamers and confetti at the end! WOW he was amazed! The music was also loud and engaging for the kids. The only part I would recommend to this performance is to take out the intermission. The show is not that long where they need a break. The kids get restless then.
My son really loved the show. Great how they combined both live action and video. My son loved the interaction with the show.
My mom and I took my almost 2 and almost 1 year older to the Chicago show last night as the start of their birthday weekends. It was amazing! My usually shy 2 year old danced and helped sing every song. He waved his light up wand we bought there in the air.and could not believe that his friends-The Super Readers-were there right in front of him. My 1 year old danced, clapped, and sang her way through the show. As for the show itself, it was very organized and FUN! There was a short intermission, which was perfect for the kids. At first I thought the tickets were a little expensive for a kid's show...but it was so worth it! I just soon save our eating out money for a month just so they can have this experience again.
The show was good, about an hour long but the after party was terrible. The advertisement indicated "after party" with refreshments/healthy snacks. The after party was in some room in the back that was not decorated. There were balloons on the FLOOR... no helium. The refreshments were a table that had bottled water stacked on it and the CHILDREN received a white lunch bag with two snacks in it as you left the party. There were no refershments for ADULTS. The ticket price for adults was the SAME price as the children... so of course I expected refershment also. The "meet" part involved the four main characters coming in the room and standing/posing in front of four backdrops for photos. There was a table with a couple of Super Why coloring pages on it. Not enough for every child. And some portable crawl through/tunnel pop up for the children that looks like someone brought it from home. And that was it. See the show but save your money on the "after party". I was quite disappointed! Never again.
My son absolutley loved the show! He said it was his favorite that we have ever seen live!
This was the first time we actual went to an event like this. My husband and I took our daughter and she didn't take her eyes off the stage. Now all she talks about is Super Why and the character and how they came out the TV and became real. We are going to see Sesame street Elso make music live next. Thanks Ticket master.
This was a wonderful introduction to the stage for my grand-kids.They loved every second, and so did the grown-ups!
This was a well organized event & good for the whole family. Our 5-year-old granddaughter was mesmerized & excited all at the same time. We played Super Why at home for 2 days after seeing the Live event. Our granddaughter loved seeing the "real" characters. It was wholesome & educational. And the crowd though full of children was very well behaved. The people running the concessions seemed a bit overwhelmed by the amount of people they needed to serve. And they ran out of some of the snack items. But they were polite & as accommodating as possible. Overall a great event.
My family had a blast! My boys enjoyed the show and songs. I would recommend parents to take their little ones.
My husband and I carried our 2 year old son to this show in Atlanta at the Cobb Energy Center. This was the first time we've ever taken him to a live show so I was a bit nervous that the show wouldn't be able to hold his attention. I was so wrong! Super Why Live was great and he enjoyed every minute. While I agree that the intermission was a bit long, the total length of the show (about 1.5 hrs.) was just right for us. We will definitely go again if they come back to town!
The actual duration of the show was roughly 1-hour (not including intermission, which lasted longer than that second half of the show). We purchased the cheaper tickets ($20.00ish) and still felt that it was way overpriced. Disappointing for sure. We do not recommend.
My son is 2 and I was a little concerned that he would not be able to sit through the show. He absolutely loved it though...and I loved it too!
The venue was wonderful as always and seats were great! The show was entertaining with a great problem to solve. My only issue, which my 3 year old son questioned wihin 30 seconds of the show starting, is that the characters mouths didn't move. Other than that, the show was terrific! My son wanted to go again the next day so that about says it all :)
Great show!! Loved the effects and music!!! My 4 year old can't stop talking about it!!!
I give his show 5 stars. Best kid show let. Must see again
Super Why was great fun-my 3 1/2 year old loved it!
The only negative was they started 10 minutes late, then had a 15 minute intermission, and that is a lot of time to entertain two 3 year olds!! Fortunately we were on the front row, so during intermission, the kids scooped up confetti and threw it up on themselves and played between the stage and the seats - something not everyone could do. We went to the afterparty, and they had a BLAST there!
