The Wild Kratts Live! on Tour

What's the best way to get kids to learn about things like ecology and the animal kingdom and keep them entertained at the same time? Turn them on to The Wild Kratts. Ever since the show made its debut back in 2011, it's used exciting animal adventure tales and colorful animation to tell stories that clue kids in to valuable lessons about the natural world.

The stars of the show (at least the human ones) are actually its creators. Real-life brothers Chris and Martin Kratt write and direct the show that they brought into being, but they also appear as animated characters, providing their own voices. In each episode, the Kratts rub shoulders (and tentacles and paws and hooves) with another bunch of animals in a different adventure, from sperm whales and giant squids to porcupines and hippos.

In addition to knowing how to capture kids' imaginations, the brothers really understand their subject — Martin holds a degree in zoology, and Chris has worked as a professional ecologist. They also understand how to harness that combination of educational power and creativity that has made The Wild Kratts an international phenomenon and turn it into a thrilling live-action show.

With The Wild Kratts Live, Chris and Martin connect to their fans in a completely different way, as they bring their adventures to life. Not only do the men behind the Emmy-nominated program appear onstage in front of the kids who've grown up loving the Kratts, those kids also get a chance to interact with them when the brothers pose questions to the audience.

No Wild Kratts event would be complete without the animals. In keeping with the show's philosophy, the Kratts elected to leave actual creatures of the wild unhampered, opting instead to have actors play a host of larger-than-life animals onstage. Between the Kratts, the creatures, and the production, fans of the series will have the time of their lives.

I've been watching the Wild Kratts since I was very young. We decided to stop in NOLA during my commencement (College Graduation) trip to see this show. I was not disappointed! The production quality was EXCEEDINGLY high, beyond what I expected. It was entertaining, and there were a few times where I had that brain expanding moment of "Oh, I'm watching the people I've seen on TV my whole life ON STAGE LIVE". It was honestly wild and incredible. 10/10 show.

I loved the live show. I was skeptical at first wondering how or if they were going to transform. They did amazing and my son loved it. We did have a small issue, my son was told by a worker that he could get his toy Martin signed after the show. When we went to do that we were then told only if we bought VIP tickets. He was so upset, he cried thinking his whole night was ruined after thinking the whole show he was getting his toy signed. I spoke with someone about how a worker told my son this information and next time they should make sure all the workers were on the same page before they tell a child information like this. They made it right and he got his toy signed. Good job to the team for making it right!!! Thank you for making this a night to remember for my son.

Martin and Chris and their team have put together a WONDERFUL program for kids. As an adult who grew up watching Zaboomafoo and my children watching Wild Kratts it was a blast for us to be there. They do a wonderful job of incorporating the kids in the program! This is a fun family event that your kids will definitely enjoy if they watch Wild Kratts on tv.

Have been watching these guys on TV since I was a young child was excited to see my kids were enjoying a new show they had on the air only to find out they were doing a live tour. I will say it wasn't what I was expecting but it kept my kids (4,5, and 7) fully engaged the entire time they were on stage. Ive been to Disney world, dollywood, universal studios, and many other dedicated plays and shows with them and they have never been so engaged or had as much fun as watching this show and I will add we did not have the best seats and it was definitely close to bed time (parents you know what I mean) and yet they were so happy and engaged interacting with the show. If you have young kids and they watch wild kratts I highly recommend its a good time for them.

The show was fun, interactive and true to the show the kids (and we parents) are used to seeing on our TVs. Highly recommend for anyone with kiddos who enjoy this show. Was so nice to see the selection of merchandise for sale was reasonably priced. We did the VIP Meet & Greet, and these two gentlemen are as energetic and genuine as you see in the show.
