It truly was a pleasure to see Stills & Young reunite for such a worthy cause. The energy was spectacular . The evening was very informational; regarding autism. As I have a 31 year old son who has HFA High functioning Autism. It did help me understand Autism mush better ,, with hope Thank you everyone !!

What a wonderful way to enjoy music and support research for Autism. Very well done indeed! Full of love and gratitude. So glad I went and loved the celebrity surprises!

  • Stills-Young and More

by RandyM on 4/28/15Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Was worried that Neil would do 3 songs and out, but ended up playing close to an hour with Stills instead of separate sets. Seats and sound were great and after a few excellent acoustic songs they rocked the small place. Along with the other artists short sets which were all very good and Jack Black as emcee, you couldn't have asked for a better evening.

Third year in a row that I have been to this benefit and once again it did not disappoint. Great show for a great cause.

  • Neil Young was off the chart!!

by TruBrit on 4/28/15Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

What a wonderful evening where we learnt about the strides that have been made to diagnose autism and saw 3 teenagers who are dealing with it. The musicians all were memorable particularly Steve Earle. Jack Black provided some lighter moments and was a competent auctioneer for the two Fender guitars (thanks to Brad Pitt & unknown man - $45k was raised) Neil Young & Stephen Stills played some old Buffalo Springfield numbers that must be nearly 50 years old but still sounded great. The only down moment was Stephen Stills's voice struggling but this was blown away by his guitar playing. The event ended with a rendition of "Keep on rocking in the free world" by all the artists led, of course, by the wonderful Neil Young. A truly memorable evening.

  • legendary

by scooter90012 on 4/28/15Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

It really was a great night of music with some legendary musicians, especially if you were fans of the 'old' Buffalo Springfield. It would have been nice to hear Shawn Colvin a bit more or if she sang some songs that were part of her 'hit' list. she looked and sounded great. Stephen Stills clearly sounds better with backup of Crosby and Nash but the end of the night was great listening to both Stills and Young together again. I have to admit, last years concert was so much better (and cheaper and I still had front row seats)

  • Stills/Young were great.

by rsh345 on 4/28/15Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

This collaboration between Stephan Stills and Neil Young has lasted decades and I've listened to them for nearly all of those decades. The music was great and they truly looked like they were having fun and pulled into the crowd into that fun.

  • Slow Start/ Great Finish!

by SIMISR on 4/28/15Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Great entertainment for a good cause. Neal Young does not disappoint. He, Steven Stills and the entourage rocked the house and earned every bit of the audiences attention with their performances. Loved the sound at the Pantages and the seating was very comfortable. This is a great music venue.

  • Another fabulous show for a good cause.

Entertaining event to educate the public about Autism and raise much needed funds for research. This was my second Autism Speaks concert and I enjoyed both immensely. Jack black did a great job with the guitar auction and the children's performances were inspiring.

I was totally disappointed and totally misled into thinking that this is going to be a good musical concert instead it was a rally to donate

  • Down by the Riverside (Fox)

by scooter59 on 6/15/14Fox Performing Arts Center - RiversideRating: 4 out of 5

This was the first time seeing Stephen Stills, and I had heard so many negative comments about this condition of his voice. However, he is not just a singer, but much more importantly a songwriter and guitar player (a VERY underrated guitarist at that). His vocals were a little shaky during the first few songs, but by the time of his acoustic segment of the first set, he had it under control and was using it well. As always, his guitar playing was stunning, and the set list could not have been a more thorough survey of his career, as well as key selections from Neil Young and Graham Nash. A couple key Dylan covers brought the house down, and encore closer of "Love the One You're With" was sing-a-long to end all sing-a-longs. What a wonderful evening with this legendary artist.

  • Been A While

The last time that I watched Stephen Stills perform was in 1977, with his other band mates. Even though that was a great time to watch them on their reunion tour. I believe this one was better. Of course the harmonizing wasn't there. This time it was the person that wrote all of some of the best music in the past 50 years. He gave great commentary on some of his music that he has written. I would also like to mention that right after Woodstock. He met up with Al Cooper and Mike Bloomfield to do what became called Super Sessions. I hope that Stephen stays around a lot longer to write more great music.

  • Stephen Stills

by mom3cee on 5/28/14Fox Performing Arts Center - RiversideRating: 1 out of 5

I don't know if he was sick, he alluded to the fact of something about his throat. If that was the case, it would have been better to cancel. We left during the 5th song. We were going to go during the 3rd song, but hoped things would get better. It was quite sad to hear such a wonderful singer not be able to carry a note.

  • Stephen Stills

Stephen Stills is a great talent and knows how to connect with his audience. I would go to other concerts, but would like to see more electric sometimes. Haven't been to a concert in years, so the bigger the better... I'll just have to go more often now...

Disappointing performance. Great seats, wonderful venue. In fairness, I am not a big Stephen Stills fan to begin with, and after this event my wife and I will definitely not be investing in seeing him again.

  • Stephen Stills at the Fox in Riverside

by bukmop on 5/28/14Fox Performing Arts Center - RiversideRating: 3 out of 5

Unfortunately, the concert was sub-par; first, the seating was terrible because for some reason The Fox decided to place movable seats in front of me which were higher that the normal bolted seats which made viewing the concert a bit more challenging, and then there was the issue of an aging singer song-writer who has seen his better days as a singer; Still's voice was very erratic at best. His gravelly pitchy voice was difficult to enjoy at times, and his articulation of words is very poor; most of the lyrics I could not understand, but what Stills lacked in mechanical singing qualities he made up with soulful singing; I have to give that to the old boy; he "still" has a lot of soul. As for his guitar work, well at times the 69 year old guitarist had to be carried by the band. Oh, he also forgot some of the lyrics to some of the songs, and he preformed many covers which I thought was unusual for him, but all in all, the audience, which was predominantly elderly people, shower Stills with adulation. But through all the mishaps on stage, Stills gave it his best, and he did it with witty humor in between songs.

  • Stills was average
