Whether he's singing an ode to "queer tattoos," telling his potential paramour all the things he won't be doing for her (he ain't fightin' no Lion), or lamenting his new vegan lifestyle ("Tofurkey? Stephen moved to New York in 1996, with the goal of becoming a performer. While temping during the day, he wrote songs and performed at clubs and underground music venues around Manhattan at night. Stephen quickly developed a devoted fan base and caught the attention of Comedy Central, who invited him to record his 1st cable special in 2000. That special became one of their highest rated shows in the series, almost unheard of for an unknown. His 2 nd Comedy Central special debuted in January 2008, with similarly high ratings.
In 2006, Stephen Lynch stepped onto the Broadway stage for the first time in the title role of The Wedding Singer. His performance earned him nominations for some of the highest honors in American Theatre including the Drama League Award for Distinguished Performance, the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actor in a Musical, as well as the highly coveted Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical.
Stephen's albums "A Little Bit Special," "Superhero," "The Craig Machine," and "3 Balloons" have sold hundreds of thousands of copies around the world. His first DVD, "Live at the El Rey," was certified Gold by RIAA. Stephen has toured with some of the biggest names in comedy, including Lewis Black and the late Mitch Hedberg. He's also headlined his own sold out shows throughout the United States, Australia and Europe, where its been said he's "the Beyonce of Scandinavia."
When not touring the globe for ardent and enthusiastic fans, Stephen divides his time between New York and Michigan with his wife.
Stephen is always hilarious. The House of Blues was a perfect venue for a show of this setting. He played many past “hits” as well as some new material mixed in and kept the crowd laughing and entertained for two hours.
Was def funny but I've seen much better shows from him in earlier tours
This is the third time I've seen Stephen Lynch & he's been awesome everytime. Played a couple of songs that I've never seen on any of his C.D.'s (Time Machine & the War on Christmas). Hysterical. Rod Cohen was with him but, sadly, No Courtney Jaye. If he's ever in your area, He's a must see.
Stephen never disappoints! He has a great voice and uses it to sing funny, dirty, crazy and over the top songs! We were cracking up the whole time we were there.
I have been a fan of Stephen Lynch for years, but never had the opportunity to see him perform live. I absolutely loved this performance. Stephen combines incredible musical talent with unsurpassed creative wit. I left the show with my cheeks hurting from laughing so hard. Thanks, Stephen! You, sir, are awesome.

I used to listen to Stephen Lynch in high school, more than ten years ago. I also have just started going to stand up shows live, and I’ve seen maybe ten headliners so far, trying out new material. Very few can work a crowd as well as Steven Lynch can— it was a really great show. The new stuff was hilarious, the old favorites were good, and the improvisation and comfortability with the crowd made it so much fun. Other comedians try new material but when they don’t get a laugh, they just move on to the next joke without much transition or acknowledgement that the crowd is even there. This is show was great from start to finish.
Played very little old stuff. New stuff isn't that good !
The venue was great. Polite and helpful staff. Stephen Lynch ... HILARIOUS!! Bought tickets as my husband and my Christmas gift. Best gift!! He’s funny, unscripted, laid back. You feel like you’re hanging out with you funny (good looking) friend. Can’t wait to see him again.

Inhave been a stephen lynch fan for well over a decade and he akways puts on an amazing show but this time and the previous time seeing him i wasn't a huge fan of his setlist. A lot of the songs on the setlist now are very laid back, i wish he would play more of his powerful hits like Beelz, Craig, Talk to Me, special olympics, vanilla ice cream, grandfather, for the ladies, she gotta smile, etc.
My wife and I have seen Stephen Lynch play live on three occasions. It seems like he just gets better and better. This is NOT the show for you if you are easily offended. Also not the place for you if you can’t handle some significant presidential bashing. However, if you can deal with that, you’ll have an awesome time. His songs are catchy and ridiculously funny. Great audience engagement as well.
I had 3rd row seats with my dad who is handicapped and the venue made sure he was safe and happy. The show was as wonderful as it has been the last 4 times we saw Stephen Lynch, maybe even the best one yet!
While I enjoy his albums, he's much better live. Plan to see him whenever he's in town.
I have loved Stephen Lynch for many years. Was so happy to see him back on tour in my area again. If your uptight, easily offended and suffer from lack of a sense of humor... this is not the show for you... stay home and don’t ruin it for the rest of us ROFLMAO! It’s great how he interacts with the audience. You can go to the same show more than once and still get to see something different and funny each time! Never disappointing!
So funny. I didn’t stop laughing the entire 2 hours of the show. Sides hurt and tears streaming down my face.

Stephen Lynch is my future 2nd husband, he just doesn’t know it yet. I got to see him at the Sands and Harrah’s on this tour, loved the new songs, always enjoy the classics. Can’t wait to see him again
