  • Manage Expectations

This was sort of cool, and watching this movie on the (kinda) big screen again was fun. The musicians were excellent. However if you’re looking for a captivating experience, please manage your expectations. The music is pretty much in line with the movie, and not too much louder than theater speakers. Altogether not worth the $65/seat. Maybe this is better at a bigger venue with a bigger screen, I don’t know.

  • Just OK

I really thought it was going to be a live concert with spiderman acting out of stage as I've been to in the past. It was just a movie with a live orchestra there playing the music for the movie. It was not a live play as I thought but my grandson and son, enjoyed it. I just wouldn't have drove 2.5 hours away for a movie I could have watched in my hometown.

I took my boys to see this and it didn't disappoint, we're big Spiderman and Miles Morales fans and would definitely go again!!!

  • Amazing Spider-Man!

This was so cool! Music and lights added thrills to an already cool movie! Only downside was we shouldn't see 1/4 of the screen from our seats in the back of the mezzanine because the ceiling was too low. Really surprised the folks who planned it didn't think of that. We still made the best of it and enjoyed the concept very much.

  • So much fun

I have to begin by saying that the dudes plying violin were having a blast and I loved it. It was a really good experience and I recommend it to any one who’s a fan of this movie

  • Fun twist on a movie

by Kevin on 11/12/24The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

I was actually not expecting to watch the movie over again and with the orchestra playing over certain parts of the soundtrack. All in all, the composer, musicians, DJ, staff, and atmosphere was great!

  • Beautiful and Amazing!

by Ki on 11/12/24The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

It was a fantastic experience and I will absolutely be looking forward to future and similar events. The orchestra and conductor did such a great job; they encouraged us to cheer and clap for our favorite characters/scenes in the movie, all the while playing at such a high level!! Truly talented and skilled people. The instruments and DJ were on time with each scene, and even subtly added to the music. It was loud and energetic in the best way possible.

  • Great performance/movie

Such a fun experience, to watch the movie with a live orchestra/DJ. The crowd was amazing - cheering during the exciting parts of the movie. I hope they do this again for the 3rd movie!

  • A marvelous experience!

by BigFan on 11/12/24The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

I took my roommate to this and we had a lovely time! It was SO MUCH FUN to watch the musicians on stage! I’m not sure who they are but the violinist in the second chair from the audience was ROCKING out and it’s so heartwarming to remember there are artists that have a small moment to express that. The music was moving, the experience was lovely. If I had a critique it would be that the chairs are uncomfortable and the elevator takes a thousand years. But the staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I plan to go to another if offered.
