My family and I absolutely loved this show. As a violinist myself it was so great to witness the musicianship on this platform.
We loved the movie already but hearing the live orchestra made the movie come alive. It was like we were watching it for the first time first time. It was great outing. My kids 15 and 9 loved it!
Loved everything about it!!!!! The orchestra made the movie even more fabulous than it already was.
With such a amazing orchestra they made the experience much more memorable.
If you like the Spider-verse movies at all, you it owe to yourself to see this movie. There was such passion oozing from all of the musicians, definitely an experience I won't forget!
A great location at the Dolby. The staff was helpful, the lines flowed well and overall the performance was stellar
My grandson loves Spiderman so we surprised him with tickets to the show. The show was excellent and we really enjoyed the movie especially The Symphony...we had a BLAST!!!
I already love this universe with Miles Morales. But to see it with hundreds of other fans, on the big screen, with LIVE Music! It was amazing. Goosebumps over and over again. I didn't get to see the first one last year but I heard it was an all woman BiPOC orchestra, which would've been amazing too. I'm so glad I was able to attend this year. Highly recommended!
What a great show! It is so amazing to be able to watch the movie while hearing the amazing live orchestra! And to have the composer, Daniel Pemberton, come out and play as well; awesome!! I only wish that traffic could be controlled better. We thought we were making a great decision by going to the matinee, but it was the worst traffic, before and after the show, that we have ever had! Luckily we had planned to have lunch before the show, so we were there early. We didn't get to have lunch, but we were not late to the show.
It was a great birthday experience for my 10-year-old. I loved it just as much as he did! Nothing compares to live music. The orchestra and DJ were phenomenal!! Looking forward to Beyond the Spider-Verse.
This live in concert was incredible. My son loved it and so did we. The Orchestra and staff were great Highly recommend! 10/10
Minus the brief bit of technical difficulties after the intermission, the whole experience was absolutely phenomenal! Wonderful movie and brilliant score by the phenomenal Daniel Pemberton!
Wonderful experience making one of my favorite movies even better! Excellent staff working the event as well!
The soundtrack and musicians themselves were absolutely amazing! Having them play everything live added to the experience of watching the film and somehow immersed you further into the story. The reason this wasn’t a 5 star reviews was because the screen on stage was a little small from where we were sitting, but this was more of a venue issue than the show itself issue.
Great experience with my 6 year old! Conductor, DJ, and Orchestra that accompanied was so awesome. Given intermission and length of the movie, it would've been nicer for the show to start at 630.
The music is good, and even better with the ensemble playing live. From the opening drum sequence with Gwen, to the emotional moments with Miles and his parents, to the energy of the erratic chase scenes! It great movie made more awesome!
An actual life changing experience. If you’re a fan of the soundtrack or even just the movie you need to watch one of these performances. The musicians are amazing and they make the movie even more impactful when you can hear and feel the soundtrack so well.
I enjoyed my time at this live concert of Across the Spider-verse. I appreciated that we were given permission to cheer, laugh, and applause throughout the movie. I still respected the performers by not taking photos during the show though. I was expecting a bigger orchestra and would've liked a larger screen to go with it. Staying throughout the credits at the end is when I feel like the performance really shined since the performers stood out the most at that time without the distraction of the movie on the screen. I noticed I did have a harder time focusing on the orchestra since the movie was playing. I appreciated the musicians greatly and wanted to give them the proper recognition for their performance. Great show!
I really liked the place, the organization, and the show itself. I did not expect being the whole movie, I thought they were just short videos from the movie (I didn't find the duration of the event in the description). The parking place linked on the site with the purchase of the ticket was a parking lot 3 blocks of distance and there were many more closer. Despite this, it was an excellent event.
This was my first time seeing a movie live in concert. It was 10 times more fun than I anticipated. The movie is excellent, the live music extraordinary and the theatre was sold out. Everyone had an amazing time. A do not miss experience!
