With 10 Tony® nominations including Best Musical, SOMETHING ROTTEN! is a “big, fat hit!” (New York Post). Set in the ‘90s – the 1590s – this hilarious smash tells the story of Nick and Nigel Bottom (Tony® nominee Rob McClure and Broadway’s Josh Grisetti), two brothers who are desperate to write their own hit play while the “rock star” Shakespeare (Tony® nominee Adam Pascal) keeps getting all the hits. When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theatre involves singing, dancing and acting at the same time, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world’s very first MUSICAL! With its heart on its ruffled sleeve and sequins in its soul, SOMETHING ROTTEN! is “The Producers + Spamalot + The Book of Mormon. Squared!” (New York Magazine).

Cast was great. Good humor and lots of fun. We would definitely recommend it to others.
Lots of talent in the cast. Amusing story. If not familiar with Broadway plays and Shakespeare, much of the jokes would be lost.
Never been to watch a musical their. I'm out of words it was just amazing
We really enjoyed the performance of all characters
The cast was amazing and the show was hilarious! Great music, creative lyrics and overall very entertaining. It far exceeded my expectations.
One of the funniest and most entertaining shows I have ever seen. Highly recommend it! The entire cast is outstanding,
This musical is hilarious and the choreography was as good as any I've seen either touring or on Broadway!
Just a great show--funny all the way through. Great talent, hilarious jokes.
I don't normally go to very many musicals, but this one was worth the exception! It was lots of fun and laugh out loud moments, along with great music. I would definitely recommend this to anyone ready to enjoy a good, funny musical!
Fantastic show, and pretty cool to have Matthew Janisee back in northern Indiana from his Wagon Wheel days. Bravo, lots of fun!
The music in this show was phenomenal. I loved the references to music from other musicals. The dancing was fantastic, so much energy in the whole show! And lots of humor. The costumes were colorful and looked expensive. I was impressed at how easily and seamlessly the sets were converted to a different scene. A great show!
I had seen this show in NYC thanks to the advice of a friend so I wanted to share the experience with my husband here, and it didn’t disappoint! So much fun, witty lines, expert costuming, and beautiful voices and dance!
'Somthing Rotten' is one of the funniest and most entertaining shows I've seen. The music is catchy and the comedy is witty. If you love Shakespeare you will enjoy this show or if you don't love Shakespeare you will still enjoy it. A word of warning though a lot of the humor is adult oriented so i would recommend not bringing young kids to see this. I was surpised at the amount of childern that were at the performance I attended.
What a fun show! Great performances by all performers. Great staff at the Embassy Theater. We had a fun time start to finish!
