I was blown away by the this performance! It's not your typical Broadway show in that there is no intermission and there are no major set changes yet it is entertaining and informative! Would love to go again and I highly recommend it!

  • SIX at The National Theatre

I am a professional theatre videographer recording 3-4 shows weekly. I give the National Theatre's cast and staff of SIX the highest praise whatsoever. I not only attended the matinee on July 17th that I went back to see it again on the 24th. I have recommended the show to everyone! Ron BEHIND THE SCENES.

  • Incredible Show

by Christina Marie on 7/27/22The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

I saw this show on Broadway during the last Week of Previews. It was incredible then and somehow just as incredible the second time. All 6 singers and the 4 part onstage Band absolutely brought the house down the entire Matinee. The Sound was incredible, and the lighting was spot on. We saw an Understudy/Alternate and she was such a wonderful talent. The National was well organized, lines went quickly and entry was smooth. I appreciated that the mezzanine levels had accessible seating and could accommodate Wheelchairs and Motor Scooters. As well as had restrooms access and signs supporting using the restroom that matched their Gender Identity regardless of expression. Great Experience, cannot wait to go back.

  • An absolutely fantastic blast!

Six is a fabulous show! I was Ignited by the energy of the performers on stage. The lighting, the choreography, the music, the musicians, and the performers filled me with so much excitement. You will have an absolute ball seeing this show. I was dancing, smiling the whole time, voguing, and singing along. I felt empowered and felt like a true queen! You ARE the queen of the castle!

  • The Best 1 hour and 20 Minutes Ever

by Jessie on 7/27/22The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

This was my second time seeing Six, the first time on Broadway and now the tour, and let me tell you the tour does not disappoint one bit! Each queen is packed with so much talent, it is mind blowing. The ladies in waiting (band) bring down the house with their incredible instrumentals. You will laugh, you will cry, you may even learn a thing or two!

  • The Queens of SIX were a 10!

by OceanMom on 7/27/22The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

All of the ladies on stage were amazing - the 6 Queens and the Ladies in Waiting, the band. The tunes were dynamic and their voices rose to the occasion. While I was told not to expect a standard musical with set changes and costumes, I did not expect this. The only problem was I wanted more songs at the end - we weren't ready to leave the theatre. We have downloaded the soundtrack and we are all singing from my 20-year-old daughter to my 79-year-old Mother in Law!

  • Not at all what I expected

by Na on 7/27/22The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 4 out of 5

As part of history, the story was predictable, but presented in such a unique way. I really enjoyed how the musical dealt with such a difficult subject. The singing was extraordinary and the dancing was entusiastic and fun! My only concern - this is a play for adults. The content and sexual innuendo are not appropriate for children. I do think that there should be some kind of warning for parents.

  • Absolutely Fantastic!!

I wasn't familiar with this musical, but the concept sounded interesting. I was blown away. The music, dancing, and costumes were spectacular. I was also able to see this show has a following---and I can understand why. I highly recommend this unique take on history.

  • Would see it again.

by BC on 7/26/22The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

The show,as I anticipated, was bold and hilarious and at the same time reflective of the history. I was impressed with all six wives voices and performances. I was not happy when it was over and would recommend it for all who enjoy mirth and drama. I am personally thankful for the box office staff who made sure I saw the show.

  • SIX is AMAZING!!

by JH on 7/26/22The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

I've listened to the cast recording on their official YouTube channel. I've seen images of the Broadway performers and watched some videos from past performances. That all pales in comparison to seeing it in person! We had the Aragon Company performing for us in D.C. and it was the best! All of the ladies sounded amazing, looked amazing! This is a show to reinforce body positivity and celebrate our diversity. If I could afford to see it live everyday, I would! I highly recommend you go and see SIX!

  • ABSOLUTELY A FABULOUS SHOW!

Eighty minutes flew by; eighty minutes of pure delight, wonderful music & song! I want to see the show again, NOW! We were told this production company was one of the best, performing "Six".... That must be true because they were all FANTASTIC! A must-see, for sure!

  • Was it a musical or a concert??

by Nick on 7/26/22The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Did not know what to expect going in but pleased to say I screamed my head off 😏 Excellent voices from the cast, insane band on accompaniment and the 80 min no intermission runtime made it easy to savor every second. Definitely going back for seconds, thirds, and sixths!

  • Beheaded

Great music. The wives told thier story. Not your standard broadway musical. Could have been longer with more songs.
