My dad promised me two years ago that he would take me to see SIX. When I found out that it would be in DC while I was visiting my dad there, I had to see it. It did not disappoint. Everything was perfect. The music, the costumes, the lighting, EVERYTHING!! The energy was great and the venue was amazing. I cried happy tears when the curtains opened.
The energy this cast has was beyond incredible. Their voices and personalities really just pulled the show together. Everyone was so nice and genuine, I would definitely see this show again!
I decided I had to see this show after seeing one musical number from it performed in a parade. I was very excited when we got the tickets, but the show was even better than I'd anticipated. The script/lyrics were incredibly witty, the music was great, and the performances by every cast member was stellar.
The National Theater has been well renovated and was the perfect venue for this touring Broadway production of Six that is lots of fun: great costumes, decor / scenery, lighting, music and lyrics. An interesting take on history, humorous yet informative and a nice twist on contemporary women's empowerment projected into reading history. Great energy and good vibes with the DC crowd to match it.
Brilliant play. Brilliant performances. Run to see it. We just loved it and everyone needs a bit of happy now. This will give you that. You will be smiling!!!
I honestly don't think I have ever heard six artists of that caliber of singing before, and I've been a musical fan for a long time. These women were incredible vocalists. The plot was fun, meta, timely, and moved along at a decent clip. Staging was extra poppy and the audience had a BLAST. Would definitely recommend for history nerds, feminists, and music lovers alike.
Thoroughly enjoyed the musical, Six. The choreography was terrific along with the vocals. The writing was clever and well executed by the actors.
Henry the VIII is just a pretext for a lively musical that does not stop singing!
The story is interesting but the execution was terrible. The cast was OK but not that talented. Overall, too loud, did not flow and the music was terrible
Ticket prices were a ripoff. If I can't by directly from the theater in the future, I won't go. I won't line Ticketmaster's pockets anymore.

This show was so fun and high-energy. All the Queens blew me away with their talent and I was impressed by their ability to sing and dance so well. Highly enjoyable show.
