Shin Lim on Tour
Catching Shin Lim in the act is unlike watching any other magician perform. Instead of making people disappear or sawing them in half, he simply concentrates on card tricks. But he raises the level of his sleight of hand with a deck of cards to a fine art.
There's drama, music, and a kind of a ballet to Lim's magic. And he's known for performing his illusions without uttering a word, letting his hands and his cards do all the talking while his carefully curated music — Lim started out as a musician — tickles the audience's ears. If you've seen him in one of his many television appearances, be it Penn & Teller: Fool Us, America's Got Talent, or Jimmy Kimmel Live, then you've experienced only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to a Shin Lim live performance.
Shin Lim Background
Born in Vancouver to Singaporean parents and raised in Massachusetts, Shin Lim had two passions in his youth: music and magic. He was studying music in college when he learned that he was suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome. This discovery caused him to abandon playing the piano in favor of becoming a professional magician.
He got one of his first big breaks when he was given the chance to tour in China. Since he didn't speak the language, he kept silent during his tricks, and that practice became a signature of his shows. Bringing a bold, unprecedented artistry to the realm of card tricks, Lim really began to hit it big when he worked his magic on TV's Penn & Teller: Fool Us in 2015. The performance became a social media sensation that elevated his profile dramatically. Since then, he's frequently appeared on TV, twice becoming a winner on America's Got Talent. And he tours widely, taking his illusions everywhere from Las Vegas to Broadway.
This guy Shin Lim does not disappoint. His side mate Colin Cloud also from AGT is a great funny guy and loves to do audience involvement (If you sit in the front). But overall, I have never seen a better performance from a magician. Love it!!!!!!
Colin Cloud is the master of ceremony! Amazing entertainer and mentalist ... and very funny! Shin Lim lives up to his reputation from AGT! He is truly one of the best sleight-of-hand illusionists. What a showman he is too!
There was a lot of audience participation, and a card trick for every audience member left everyone speechless! Lots of fun, the kids seemed to enjoy the show as well. So glad we had tickets.
Being a long time Shin Lim fan I must say he never fails to dazzle. Show was fantastic, cant say enough good things about it. And Colin was tremendous as well. They are such a great match up and play off each other so well. Look forward to seeing them in Vegas!!!
Excellent performance. Both Shin Lim & Colin Cloud are very talented and very entertainment. Shin Lim is the real deal ! Seeing him perform in person is a must!
My daughter and I lived the show very much. Both were funnier than expected and we were engaged the whole time. Would see them again!!!

We went as a family night out and everyone really enjoyed it. What an awesome show. Entertaining from beginning to end. It really left us asking “Hoooow???”
This is actually the 2nd time we have seen Shin Lim. He is just as fascinating the 2nd time around. Enjoyed the opening act, too! Lots of audience interaction, so try to get close to front! We were in 4th row, side, had great view. People all around us being picked to come up.

Fantastic! Mind blowing! Seriously, go see this show - Colin Cloud was headliner worthy as well! Show lasted 90 minutes.
I paid extra for better seats and I found that one of my seat could not see around the corner of the stage. I enjoyed the show and would have given 5/5 if my second seat had a better view.
We have been to Vegas four times and always taken the time to see one or more great shows. After enjoying Le Reve which is a 10 of 10, we decided to see our favorite AGT act, Shim Lim, and were delightfully surprised to learn there were two shows in one. All of the audience was totally involved in the talents of both Shim Lim and Colin Cloud! If you love to laugh, be surprised and mystified, while being totally involved and entertained, this is the one show, to which one must go!
Shin Lim was great - and it was an extra bonus to have Colin Cloud, as we also enjoyed his act on AGT! The two personalities offset each other nicely. Definitely would recommend this show! Try to sit a little closer if you can - we were about 6 rows back and it was perfect (though they do have large video screens).
Would definitely go to this show again!!! Hope you continue to showcase these entertainments for a long time.
Shin Lim was great - could use some new/different material but what he does is amazing. The card trick he had the crowd do was amazing!! Fun to be part of the show. However...Colin Cloud was definitely the star of the show as far as I was concerned. Entertaining, funny and truly AMAZING!!!
Colin Cloud was terrific and Shin was fabulous! Seats were great.
Best show ever!!!! Totally recommend it for everyone. You will laugh till you cry and find yourself at the edge of your seat the whole time. Don't forget to pick up your jaw because it will drop to the floor after every act. Love Love Love both Shin and Collin.
