Toronto-based artist SadBoi fka Ebhoni began her recording career at the age of 10 by uploading covers of her favorite artists' songs onto YouTube. These early years of creativity allowed her to hone her voice while studying the greats that came before her such as Beyonce and Keisha Cole. She soon began to write her own original music which fused traditional R&B with dancehall - a sound she continues today. This led to breakout hits such as "Hit This" and "X-Ting" from her 2021 EP entitled "X."
SadBoi's strong ear for production has led to her working with IzyBeats (Rihanna, Koffee), DJDS (Kanye West, BurnaBoy) and Doc McKinney (The Weeknd) to name a few. Now a young woman, SadBoii has not only established a name for herself in the music scene but also in the modelling world where she represents brands such as Savage by Fenty (Rihanna's lingerie line) and Adidas in advertisements.
Her set list was just an opener, however her voice was absolutely beautiful and the outfit was perfect. The crowd was so dead for her and I hate to see it. I can’t wait to see her on her own tour! I need front row!!!! She was so nice and set such a soft tone for Jessie. ❤️
