Ricky Skaggs Tickets

First time seeing Ricky Skaggs in concert. It was fun, entertaining and he kept the audience engaged with his storytelling. Some holiday songs as well as some good bluegrass music. Very talented band members.

This was the best concert I’ve ever been to. Ricky and the band was AMAZING and the Tennessee Theater was AWESOME! I will definitely be back again!

Ricky Skaggs has always been a favorite for me, and his music never fails to bring so many wonderful memories of times with my mom, playing his music and singing along! From his days with Bill Monroe and Boone Creek, to the present Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder, I am so thankful that he has chosen to share his God given talent with us all!

Ricky has still got it and he has a super, multi-talented band. Fine way to celebrate Christmas season.

The musicians were superb. What talent! Ricky Skaggs shared his strong faith in Christ, his love for his family, and his musical talent with the audience. It was a great evening. So very glad I went. Tennessee Theatre is beautiful.

Excellent show at the Riviera theater in Charleston. There is a multi-story car park right across the street so once you navigate through Charleston traffic parking is easy. We were in the first row of the balcony, but looking around it didn’t look like there was a bad seat in the house. Ricky Scaggs and Kentucky Thunder performed an excellent Christmas themed show. It’s easy to find the theater and parking and easy to leave and get back to the interstate for the trip home. We had a wonderful time at a great venue. Four thumbs up!

It was an excellent concert! Acoustics were good, crowd was wonderful, and concert was superb!!!

First concert at Riviera and to see Ricky Skaggs was fabulous except for the tall guy in front of us. Super tall and we sat in the front section with no gradation in flooring. Not good. Won’t ever make that mistake again. Ricky put on a great concert however.

Ricky Skaggs gives a great performance and his band was amazing . The venue was really good and had some great atmosphere and acoustics.

The show was outstanding. Perfect blend of traditional and original Christmas songs. The musicians were so talented and Ricky Skaggs has the magic touch for bluegrass. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the Christmas season!

The whole experience was great, from ticket purchase to entry into the show and especially the music choice. They were great entertainers.

I saw him in concert in the mid 80's and Ricky Skaggs is still AMAZING!!

Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder's Christmas concert at the restored Lyric Theater in Birmingham, AL, was sweet and revealing of his and other band members strong faith and caring. He opened by saying he hoped that he did not have to walk home, since the Main ST of Hendersonville, TN, his hometown, was "torn up."We had no idea what he was talking about until we got home later and saw on the weather news that tornadoes had devastated Hendersonville and another town in middle TN, northeast of Nashville, in which six people died. What a trouper! The concert was laden with Christmas favorites, including several instrumentals. Ricky also spoke about looking forward to being with his 3-year-old grandson and helping his wife, Sharon White, a caretaker for her dad. His guest tenor singer and guitarist from Huntsville, AL, gave an emotional testimony about having been sober now for 9 years, enabling him to celebrate Christmas with his son and to pull into his ex-wife's driveway "without her calling the cops."They played a long set with no intermission and two encores. Though he complained of sinus trouble, Ricky's voice was clear and lovely. Everyone in the band, including the fiddler from UT--standing in for the regular member whose wife was expecting a baby soon, played well-received solos. Thanks to Ricky and all for going on with the show!

Ricky Scaggs and Kentucky Thunder were amazing! All the guys were so talented. It was great to hear a bluegrass take on Christmas standards. Loved this show!
