Potted Potter (Chicago) Tickets

An absolutely hilarious show. We all had tears rolling down our cheeks! Amazing for the huge HP fans in the family, and even this muggle. We are definitely booking again before they leave town. Go! Buy tickets! (But not before we do, don’t want it selling out...)

I went with my 8 year old daughter-- both of us true Harry Potter fans. This show is smart, funny, no it is hilarious, with plenty of humour and gags for kids and adults. The interactive Quiddich is the high point, and to get the most out of it sit near the front!

This was a perfect holiday treat for my all-ages family group, some of us knew the books and films well, and others did not. The intimate Broadway Playhouse was a great venue for this powerhouse performance by two wonderful actors.

Overall the actors did a wonderful job and individually are probably quite funny, but this show is really meant for an audience of 8-15 year olds.

My 13 year old son laughed out loud multiple times, which is not an easy thing to make happen.

Took the whole family for a Christmas outing. Ages ranged from 61 to 2 1/2 year old and we all had a blast! Very entertaining and even better due to the audience participation. I especially enjoyed listening to my adult children laugh hysterically during the entire show. Great job cast!

I’m a HP fan and wanted to see how these guys would present the books. It was cute and clearly fun for those who know the books. It would be very difficult to follow for anyone who is unfamiliar with the books. Brought my 13 year old grandson with me who also enjoyed the play.

Go with very low expectations. I'm shocked this show goes for ~$50 for regular tickets. Even with the BOGO deal, I didn't feel the price was worth what I got. Kids seem to get a good laugh out of the bickering between the two characters (this is a 2-actor show). Felt like an improv show that should have only cost $10-15. Thank goodness it is only 70 minutes, otherwise I would have probably walked out.

It was good but the way tgey rushed the story was not the way it should be. The aspect of comedy was there but some true scenes should have been depicted for better results

We were absolutely hysterical! Great show, Lots of laughs, for fans of HP and those who have never seen it. Would definitely go see it again!

Potted Potter was absolutely hilarious. My kids are huge Potter fans and I am not. We were all in tears from laughing so hard. Who knew a 2 guy show could be so good!

While the tickets are rather pricey, we did really enjoy the show. I took my 10 and 9 year olds and they cackled their way through it, laughing sometimes when I am sure they didn’t get the joke. It was fun and quick moving. Glad we went.

It’s the same joke over and over again... the Quidditch game was the only highlight, but the show is unimaginative.

This British comedy duo charmed their audience brilliantly, our group of all ages and all levels of Potter expertise had a super fun time! Lovely venue too.

Fun show, but for "Broadway in Chicago" prices and promise of a "live quiddich game", I expected more than an empty stage and just two actors.

Potted Potter was fun, but not worth the full ticket price. Fun, but not that engaging. Could have used more players. Quite short as well, less than 1 1/2 hours.

This show was just damn hilarious! Great fun and a must-see!!

Disgrace to theater and the Harry Potter brand. No creativity. Heck, no real set! I was embarrassed to be part of the audience. The show was nothing more than living room humor you could generate with your children back at home. The only reason I didn't walk out after 10 min was so as to be considerate for the children.

Took my son for his 14th birthday. We both laughed a lot and really enjoyed the show.

My 8 and 10 year old kids were doubled over laughing throughout most of it and are asking when they can see it again!
