The show rocked the stage and the theatre. Pentatonix is extremely entertaining and magical not to mention sooooh talented! Bring them back again along with SING-OFF!
Pentatonix is amazing! Their energy and talent made for a great show and they were great at interacting with the audience (which made us quickly forget about the 30+ minute delay in starting the concert). It was my first time at this theater. About 2/3rds standing room, back 1/3 had stadium seats. I chose to stand in the 'pit' and was in the 2nd standing row from the stage. Standing outside in line and inside waiting for the show was definitely worth it! So much skill from this group, and all a cappella....amazing, no wonder this show was sold out!!!
PTX put on an incredible show. Each of the 5 is incredibly talented, and together they were epic. I really hope this group takes off -- we need more PTX in our lives! I was especially impressed with how accurate and in sync the group was live.
Pentatonix was phenomenal! They are such a talented group of singers and performers. The show flowed very nicely, the set list was terrific, and the group handled the crowd nicely in between songs. I did not expect to enjoy the show as much as I did... In fact, I only went because my boyfriend is a huge fan of them. I am SO glad I got him tickets for the holidays! Everyone should see Pentatonix live
The talent this group has is unbelievable! It was a great show for my whole family (2 kids, 11 & 8). I was blown away!
Amazing. I heard them on TV and I was surprised how big PTX sounded with only 5 but hearing them in person I was blown away. I couldn't believe there wasn't a band behind them. Kevin did not sing but Avi, Scott, Kirstie, and Mitch could give any American Idol, X Factor, The Voice winner a run for their money. As a group, PTX is as good as any group recording today. I hope they get a chance to be recognized as mainstream recording artists.
Ahh where to start?! they are all so incredibly talented. Did a mixture of original songs, newer covers, and a few covers they'd done beforehand on the SingOff. PLUS Kevin did a demonstration of his incredible talent- beatboxing WHILE playing cello, Avi did a song from the Hobbit (the one that requires deep voices) and did an insane musical/vocal trick. They also did a fun (very cool sounding) vocal exercise with the entire crowd...overall, one of the most amazing and entertaining concerts I've ever been to!!
This was my first concert in NYC and it was great! I've been following the Pentatonix online though their Youtube Channel and they were even better than online. Their funny personalities definitely lit up the night. If they have another concert in NYC I am going :)
The show itself was totally awesome. Pentatonix is an incredible group of vocalists and seeing them live was very special. They were very personable and connected with the crowd throughout the show. I would see them again. The one thing about the event that I did not like was waiting to get into the venue and then sitting for an hour until 8:30 when the show finally started. I don't understand why the show took so long to get started.
The show was amazing. Recordings do not do PTX justice; they are infinitesimally better live. The acoustics/sound in the venue was great. You could really feel the music. Fantastic overall!
The show was absolutely awesome! Pentatonix was amazing! The prices at the concession stand was appalling though. $4 for bottled water is ridiculous!
Seeing them in person was amazing. My daughters found them on you tube and showed my husband and I. They are truly a talented group and I would definitely see them again.
Besides the fact the were 30 minutes late, the show itself was amazing! They just knew how to interact with the audience. Extremely talented individuals! Cannot wait for them to come back to Philly!
If you don't know who Pentatonix are you need to get yourself together and find out because they are amazing! Five amazing talented individuals who make up one awesome sound. I want to go to every one of their concerts if I could.
Very talented group of vocalists. There was as much bass as you'd hear in a full instrumental concert. The venue of the Electric Factory frustrated me as we were packed standing room and the event started a half hour late.
We enjoyed this group on the Sing Off and couldn't have guessed that their live show would be even better!! The energy they bring to the stage combined with their incredible voices made a fantastic show!!
I've been impressed by Pentatonix for the past year and was thrilled when they decided to tour in Philly. Their energy and talent is unparalleled in the a Capella world. I would recommend this group to anyone and will be going to see them again myself.
One of the things I love about Pentatonix (and there's so much) is how pure their voices are. The last show I saw them put on had nothing but them on the stage and that was brilliant. The lights at this show made things visually more stimulating, but even without it, Pentatonix is my favorite concert memory!
The boombox and bass parts were cranked up so loud that the words of all sounds were inaudible. A BIG disappointment
Can't wait to see them again - they are amazing!!! We had a blast!
