Pentatonix Tickets

At first I couldn't believe how many people were at this concert. Once I saw the show, I couldn't believe how any of my friends could have missed it. I saw Pentatonix in September when they performed in B.B. King. It was an intimate venue, a great show, and I was proud of them for having a full house. When they performed at the packed, sold-out Best Buy Theater, with all of the lights, choreography, and unbelievable stage presence of celebrities who have been doing this for years, I was blown away. And that's to say nothing of their flawless arrangements, blend, pitch, and overall sound! Scott, Mitch, Avi, Kevin, and Kirstie are living the dream... with a cappella. That's an amazing achievement and I can't wait until we hear their latest hits on the radio one of these days. GO SEE THEM LIVE! NOW!

A cappella music is hard. It's hard to sing, and it's obviously hard to set up for because the audio mix in the House of Blues Wednesday night was terrible. Avi is a *very* strong bass, his mic was turned up way too high. He drowned out everyone else. I missed a lot of the harmonies because the bass beat overpowered everything else. Also, House of Blues needs high definition TV monitors. We tried to watch the show on the televisions, but when the lights were up high (which was most of the time) there was too much glare on the screens to see anything. The performers were good, they get a B. The venue gets a D.

A great almost 2 hour show complete with Cello-box, these guys are super talented and worth every penny, pretty good showman as well. As they get more comfortable and into their own material they will grow even better.

I've been to a few concerts, but Pentatonix was hands down my favorite. Their set list was a great mix between songs from The Sing- Off and new material. They worked hard to include the audience in everything they could, including a segment where they taught the audience to sing parts of a song along with them. I would recommend this concert to anybody who has the opportunity. Each one of them is incredibly humble and appreciated the audience just as much as we appreciated them.

Second time seeing Pentatonix and once again they didn't let us down. These are 5 extremely talented people and they put an amazing show together for the fans!

Other than waiting an hour for them, they were absolutely amazing. They are a talented group of musicians. So grateful I got to see them. They are a must see.

Great performance but waiting for it to start was way too long. (1.5 hours)

The Sing-Off was one of my favorite shows - no other program exposes people to acapella groups in this way. Pentatonix brought a style all their own - and rightfully so, won the competition! I've been dying to see them live since the show aired and finally got the chance at the House of Blues Boston on Sunday night. They were OFF THE CHARTS good - their harmonies, vocals, choreography and personalities were everything I hoped they would be and more. What a fun show - HIGHLY recommend!

Loved the show - venue wasn't great because its hard to see everything and they had no lights on the faces of the group members. Wish it would have started on time.

PTX Blew the roof off of the electric factory. Can't wait till they come back to Philly.

Even though I was in the back, their sound was fabulous and it was worth every minute.

My 7 year old daughter and I had watched The Sing Off together and she was so excited that they were coming to Philly! We couldn't have asked for a better performance with amazing music and a cappella sound, audience participation and humor thrown in between songs. Standing room only was a little tough with my daughter but we made it work. I recommend going up on the right side if you're ever at the Electric Factory with children. You can hold then up and lean on the rail for support so that they can actually see the show. The only seats are in the bar area.

After seeing PTX a few times last year I was curious if they would change the show, they did and it was amazing. Fortunately they didn't change everything but just enough that it will be new and exciting for old fans, and very entertaining for new fans! Best Buy has outstanding sound which is key for this type of music. I'm planning to see this show again soon...it's no wonder they sell out all over the country!

I was standing for about an hour and a half before they came to stage. It was all worth the wait. They were unbelievable in person.

We arrived at the theater at 6:45pm for the ticket's 7pm show. Now, I realize it's not going to start at 7pm but what happened was not good. They had the entire crowd of ticket holders lined up outside all the way around the block to the next block in Times Square. This is for ticket holders!!! It's the middle of winter and with the windchill it was probably around 10 degrees F. It was FREEZING. My mom and I decided to leave the cold line and go shop to keep warm. We went into the theater at 7:30pm without being in a line. The theater looked great but Pentatonix did not go on stage until 8:30pm! The waiting was not pleasant. I thought this was quite ridiculous to state that we have to be there at 7pm and they don't go on until 1.5 hours later?! Not ok. Pentatonix themselves were fantastic. Love their voices and most of their songs. They were really fun and actually quite funny when they spoke to the crowd in between songs. They have great personalities and are so clearly having fun up there, which makes for an exciting show. Avi is hilarious and his voice is delicious. Kevin's beat boxing is unparalleled- he even played the cello. He has extraordinary talent. Mitch's voice is angelic. Scott & Kirsty are also awesome! I would say that the Best Buy theater runs itself like amateurs, with the long waits outside, the staging was subpar, the lighting wasn't very good and the sound also could've been better. Pentatonix deserves better.
