About
Ever since the release of their 2008 EP Chunk of Change, Passion Pit’s unique brand of indietronica has appealed to fans of both indie rock and electronic dance music, generating heaps of praise from those bastions of hipster cred otherwise known as music blogs. With the release of sophomore album Gossamer in 2012, the band kept crowds moving with a collection of ambitious and impeccably produced gems like “Take a Walk” and “Constant Conversations,” earning the album a No. 4 position on the Billboard 200. Passion Pit originated as the solo project of frontman Michael Angelakos, who penned the project’s first songs for his girlfriend before enlisting some of his classmates from Berklee College of Music to start a group. The band’s debut full-length Manners (2009) received praise from critics and bloggers for its catchy and danceable songs, including breakthrough single “Sleepyhead” and kaleidoscopic electro hit “The Reeling.” On tour in 2013, Passion Pit has been treating fans to high-octane live performances that perfectly capture the spirit of their sparkling pop anthems.

Great concert from Passion Pit!!!!
by kpeacedude on 6/10/10The Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5The concert was simply amazing. Though it was extremely hot and crowded, and passion pit took a long ass time to get out, it was worth it. There was so much energy, coming from both the band and the crowd. Lights were cool too. Definitely check this band out.
Passion Pit can rock the house.
by mcr0004 on 6/10/10The Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5Me and my three friends got to the Tabernacle a little over an hour early to get right up near the stage so we had an awesome view the whole time. Two bands opened for them so we waited a while for PP but it was all worth it. They had us jumping the whole time and the quality of the music was excellent. If you go see PP try to be on the floor...but wear clothes you can sweat in because it will be a workout.
Biggest Dance Party Ever

PASSION PIT
by lovePP on 6/10/10The National - RichmondRating: 5 out of 5This was probably one of the best concerts I've ever been to. The atmosphere was great, Passion Pit was definitely unforgettable and The National is a great venue for shows like that. The two opening bands were good, they both got you in the right mood for Passion Pit. When you listen to the recorded versions of Passion Pit songs you would think that the group wouldn't sound very good live, but Michael Angelakos voice was fantastic. If you love Passion Pit I would definitely recommend this show. Make sure you get there early, because being able to be three feet away from the stage was definitely a plus for me. Oh, and don't wear something that you'll get too hot in, because you'll definitely be doing some dancing.
Passion Pit, loved it with a passion
by gillywwe on 6/10/10The Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5I went to Passion Pit and Tokyo Police Club, both of which are two of my favorite bands. The combination alone excited me beyond belief. But the show its self.....completely blew me away. If you have the chance definitely see this show!

although it was too short, it was one of the best concerts i've ever been to.
Passion pit was great live at the Tabernacle!
by Anonymous on 6/10/10The Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5This concert was great except for the fact that it was almost impossible to move around the floor of the venue because it was so crowded. Passion Pit sounded so great live and I would absolutely reccommend that anyone go to their live concerts in the future.
Fantastic!
by Anonymous on 6/10/10The Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5This is the best show I've been to in a long time. Passion Pit was absolutely amazing live, and the other bands were great, as well! It really was unbeatable.

Passion Pit was awesome, but the other two bands sucked.

Amazing Show
by Rizz67 on 6/10/10The Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5These guys had the house rocking. So much energy!!
Well worth the wait...for Passion Pit
by foxyroxy35 on 6/10/10The Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5The opening band was pretty good, definitely better than Vampire Weekend if you saw that show. However, Passion Pit took forever and didn't even think about coming on stage before 10pm and Atlanta has city laws that don't let them play past 11pm, so we knew time was ticking...yet, they completely put on a an energetic show for that hour. They were super excited and seemed like they enjoyed playing for Atlanta, I completely recommend the show!
Passion Pit was great as usual
by jazmalek on 6/10/10The Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5saw them at bonnarroo in 2009 and it was my favorite performance so i had to see them when they came to ATL. great show, so much energy.
Passion Pit is the best yet
by Anonymous on 6/10/10The Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5Tokyo Police Club opened for this group which made for a really great start. When Passion Pit reached the stage, though, everyone was wild. The crowd was fun and the band was extremely gracious. Their music, which is a little eccentric but great to listen to on your iPod, was even better live, and you can't help but dance like a crazy person in a crazy club. Finishing with Sleepyhead put the cherry on top and i wouldn't have lined their show up any other way. If there's standing room at a concert of theirs, sacrifice your comfort zone for a night and get with the crowd. You won't regret it. Bring glow sticks!
band knows how to play a show
by facereplacer on 6/10/10The Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5This show was fun as hell. The sound was great. Passion Pit was really into their songs, as was the crowd, and the whole place was just electric. What a blast.
