A lightning bolt of pure energy
by Dcseven on 6/13/10The Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5This was the most energetic and enjoyable concert I have ever been to. The selection of music was thoroughly fun, thoughtful, catchy, and musically innovative. Despite Passion Pit's limited selection, ever single track was impressive, and engaged the entire audience. Their stage presence both knocked me on my feet and put me up on my toes, hands in the air. Clearly, this young band's passion for music has not been tainted by its success. As for the venue, the Tabernacle's floor section is hot, sticky, and very personal, making the meaning of the band's name abundantly clear. The opening acts were also good, although the first opening act (I can't remember their name) was fairly weak. Tokyo Police Club, the second, was excellent.
