Ever since the release of their 2008 EP Chunk of Change, Passion Pit’s unique brand of indietronica has appealed to fans of both indie rock and electronic dance music, generating heaps of praise from those bastions of hipster cred otherwise known as music blogs. With the release of sophomore album Gossamer in 2012, the band kept crowds moving with a collection of ambitious and impeccably produced gems like “Take a Walk” and “Constant Conversations,” earning the album a No. 4 position on the Billboard 200. Passion Pit originated as the solo project of frontman Michael Angelakos, who penned the project’s first songs for his girlfriend before enlisting some of his classmates from Berklee College of Music to start a group. The band’s debut full-length Manners (2009) received praise from critics and bloggers for its catchy and danceable songs, including breakthrough single “Sleepyhead” and kaleidoscopic electro hit “The Reeling.” On tour in 2013, Passion Pit has been treating fans to high-octane live performances that perfectly capture the spirit of their sparkling pop anthems.

The whole audience was on its feet, jumping and dancing and having a great time. Passion Pit and Tokyo Police Club both have excellent stage presence.
I almost feel the need to apologize to Passion Pit because I didn't think they would play that well live when clearly it was the greatest show I've ever been too. My only regret is not being able to be in the pit to experience all that passion : / Truly an unbelievable show.
The opening band Brahms was pretty good, i liked their retro sound. Then Tokyo Police Club came on and knocked me off my feet. They had amazing CD quality sound. Then Passion Pit came on with an amazing performance and I feel bad for my friends who missed itttt
I was excited to go but the concert far exceeded my expectations!!!!!! It was so good!!!! The light and the sound were amazing! Passion Pit were funny and gracious and they just blew me away!!!!!!
I really enjoyed the show. Tokyo Police club were amazing live; they were who I really went for but I can't deny Passion Pit really impressed me. Everyone was really into it, dancing. They were really good. The only con I can say was when I orginally bought my ticket, I wasn't made aware that there was a lower level that required a wristband to get access to. If I did know this beforehand I would have definitely bought one because it allowed you to be closer to stage. We totally didn't rellize until we were being stopped by guards. But other than that I had a great time.
ammmmmmmaaaaaaaaaaazzzzziiiiiiiiiing. best show i have ever been to. when you listen to their music afterwords you'll be wishing that they had a live cd
They were great. Put on a great show and played around with the songs by switching them up and getting the audience involved. I can't wait to see them again!
Famazing Show! the venue was packed and the audience was great.
I have not been to a cocert in a while and I have to say I'm glad I came out from under my rock for this one. The opening acts were fantastic and definitely put me in the mood for Passion Pit. Passion Pit was absolutely incredible and were even better live than on the CD! The lead singer interacted with the audience and that has always been a very important factor for me when attending a concert. Performing in a small venue made it more intimate and made it that much more fun. If I could repeat last night I would repeat it in a New York minute. Bravo Passion Pit!
Passion Pitt was awesome!!!! They put on a great show!!!! They sound amazing live and the Fillmore was a great venue to see them at. I would definitely see them again and I hope they come back to Miami soon.
Amazing show!! I went to see Tokyo Police Club (one of my favorite bands) but Passion Pit put on an amazing show!! I wish that TPC could have played longer, but overall the concert was amazing!! What a show!!! SO glad that I was apart of it last night!!
I heard from previous people that Passion Pit was horrible live, BUT this was incredibly false! They were fun, upbeat, amazing, and I couldn't stop dancing. Tokyo Police Club was also amazing. They include the crowd in a fun way. Overall it is definitely a show I was happy to see!
Great sound. Really hot though! Tell them to turn up the A/C.
There's hardly a concert where ALL three bands are great. This was one of them. I forget the first band's name (started with a B) but they played enjoyable music that didn't leave your ears bleeding. Tokyo Police Club was phenomenal! They sound exactly the same as on their recorded CDs, and Passion Pit tore the place up. Best concert I've been to to-date.
Being in the pit was incredible! worth EVERY penny
One of the best concerts in my life... great sound, not loud and noisy... I would totally see them again... I wish they would bring down more bands of this caliber to Miami
This was my second time seeing them in concert. They are fantastic! Everysong makes you want to dance and just be free :)
Unbelievable show. Tons of energy. Great crowd. Can't wait to see them again.
I saw Passion Pit in Orlando and they were absolutely amazing. I didn't think it was possible for them to sound better than they do on the albums but they were even better live. The venue unfortunately was ridiculously overcrowded but not even that was able to take away from the unforgettable show put on by Passion Pit. Hopefully next time they'll stop in Jacksonville so I don't have to drive all the way to Orlando just to see them (though I will if I have to!).
