Ever since the release of their 2008 EP Chunk of Change, Passion Pit’s unique brand of indietronica has appealed to fans of both indie rock and electronic dance music, generating heaps of praise from those bastions of hipster cred otherwise known as music blogs. With the release of sophomore album Gossamer in 2012, the band kept crowds moving with a collection of ambitious and impeccably produced gems like “Take a Walk” and “Constant Conversations,” earning the album a No. 4 position on the Billboard 200. Passion Pit originated as the solo project of frontman Michael Angelakos, who penned the project’s first songs for his girlfriend before enlisting some of his classmates from Berklee College of Music to start a group. The band’s debut full-length Manners (2009) received praise from critics and bloggers for its catchy and danceable songs, including breakthrough single “Sleepyhead” and kaleidoscopic electro hit “The Reeling.” On tour in 2013, Passion Pit has been treating fans to high-octane live performances that perfectly capture the spirit of their sparkling pop anthems.

Passion Pit was one of the best shows I've been to, They sounded great live and got the crowd pumped. I came out of that show soaking wet and the strap on my purse broke. Probably from all the jumping and dancing I did. Unforgettable!
one of the most epic concerts I have ever seen. If you have the chance go see passion pit. You will not be disapionted
What an incredible show. The energy of the band and the audience was intense!!!!!
everything from brahms, tokyo police club, and passion pit that came out of the PA system blew me away!!!
Absolutely amazing. You will not be able to resist dancing your ass off the whole night. Tokyo Police Club performing old songs and new ones from their new album Champ- absolutely fantastic! Passion Pit will not disappoint- so incredible! All nice guys and great venue made for an awesome show!
It was such an amazing show. Everyone was pumped and happy to be there. They really knew how to keep the crowd going. I have never been so drenched in sweat, but it was worth it to be seeing Passion Pit!!
I got front row center.. Passion Pit was Def. the best i've ever seen play... and i've been to a lot of diff. concert. Michael Angelakos was awsome and amazing.. Oh man, I would DEF. wanna relive that night over again!
Passion Pit was awesome!!! Tokyo police club was okay. Brahms was not good.
Towards the beginning of the show it had seemed like no one was at the concert but later was filled with people shoulder-to-shoulder. The lights were amazing, the music was incredible, what can I say, I couldn't stop dancing the entire time! It was also amazing to hear the singer of passion pit hit those high notes, all this time I thought they were machine created. All in all, best show this year so far
The show was GREAT! The hour and a half wait for the opening band and the 30 min wait for passion pit wasn't great but it was totally worth it once they started playing! The club had also exceeded the maximum capacity so everyone was squished. But stiill an awesome show!!
Passion Pit delivered an awesome concert. I was very excited to see them, but my husband wasn't and Passion Pit's music and performance won him over. We both were absolutely happy that we stayed out late and got a babysitter:)
These guys were amazing. Fun, high energy upbeat show with lots of mouth-watering beats to sexy sounding synths. Frontman Michael Angelakos was engaged with the audience and kept things going throughout. Bring your dancing shoes for this one! You won't be disappointed!!
Tokyo Police Club and Passion Pit were just amazing, couldn't have asked for a better performance from either of them!
Epic! Very dancey. One of the best shows I've been to.
Passion Pit is incredible live! Venue was hot as hell, but the band Killed It!
I have been to a lot of concerts, but this was one of the, if not the, most energetic concert I have ever been to! Tokyo Police Club was great live to open the concert off as well. Passion Pit played a great set. The Ritz was shaking, and sweating hot with all the dancing and all the energy- definitely wear something light if you plan on going to see them.
Tokyo Police Club stole the show. Brahms (or whoever they were)were good as well and of course Passion Pitt did rock.........but......when they lectured the crowd about cameras, it was really lame. Not cool Passion Pitt. Not cool.
Their beats were amazing, michael the lead singer has an amazing voice, and they just sound great live. If they come back down to Miami I wouldn't miss it. Amazing show!
Doors opened at 8pm. I got there after 9 and Tokyo Police club had barely set up. When I walked into the venue, it was already so crowded that I had to stand by the bathrooms in the back. My shorter friends couldn't even see the stage. I've never heard Tokyo's music, however my friends had said compared to their recorded stuff, they were absolutely terrible, which I agreed with. Once they left, we were able to make our way just barely closer to the stage. We then had to wait in what must have been over 100 degrees inside the club. It was so packed that every inch of space was like a mosh pit. There was probably somewhere between 1,000 and 2,000 people and what felt like zero air conditioning indoors. Passion Pit didn't come on until 11, which would have been fine had the waiting not been so incredibly uncomfortable. The band was amazing. They played ridiculously well live. Vocals were especially awe-inspiring. They played until just after midnight. It was enjoyable, but would have been life changing had that venue not been so hot and packed.
