PAPADOSIO IN CONCERT:
Live electronica outfit Papadosio has become a festival favorite with their positive vibes, prog rock-meets-EDM sound, and endlessly creative live shows. The five-piece's jaw-dropping live manipulation of electronics and out-of-this-world stage designs make for a truly transformative concert experience, taking fans on a jam-filled journey that's as visually stunning as it is musically fascinating. The band's most impressive attribute, however, may be their ability to set a killer vibe -- their inclusive live shows promote a message of love and creativity, and engaging performances of songs like "Find Your Cloud" and "The Sum" always get tickets buyers on the same euphoric wave length. Fans of progressive electronic music, state-of-the-art visuals, and mind-expanding experiences will find plenty to love at Papadosio's unforgettable live shows.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Papadosio formed in the small creative community of Athens, OH in the mid-'00s. Singer/producer Anthony Thogmartin, drummer Mike Healy, bassist Rob McConnell, and synth/programmer brothers Billy and Sam Brouse began crafting a unique electronic sound based on technological innovation and experimentation. After several years of playing shows and building a fanbase, Papadosio made their recording debut with 2007's Magreenery. They followed up in 2009 with the critically acclaimed album Observations, a celebratory release that promoted a message of tolerance and humanity. Since then the band's legendary shows have been captured on numerous live albums released online, including performances from Red Rocks and the Chicago House of Blues. In 2014 they embarked on the Imaginal Cells Tour, delivering another round of mind-blowing performances that have ticket buyers eagerly awaiting their upcoming shows.

Our crew had quite a spectacular time at the venue and truly enjoyed another Papadosio show. We will be back!!!! Thank you!
Dosio is always worth your time and money don’t hesitate if you on the fence or have never seen them before do yourself a favor and buy those tickets! Been following this band for about 10 years and Can’t wait for upcoming show at Cleveland we’re they will okay TETIOS cover to cover. Gonna be the best show they have ever played!!! :)
Papadosio did an amazing job but I was just as blown away by the opener, Joe Hertler and the Rainbow Seekers. Can not wait to see those guys rock the house again!
Papadosio played in the back stage at St Augustine. Great show. Very intimate
Venue was a cool intimate spot and the music was kind of whimsical and gentle. Beautiful sounds and light show was great
Everyone was super nice The music was great. Had a ton of fun. Cant wait to see em again
Papadosio brought a good show. I was very disappointed that 1/3 of the venue was roped off. It’s florida and August it would be nice not to be crammed into one area. I also thought the bleacher were a poor decision and in a poor area. I normally would say jannus is a great Venue but This experience has changed my views. I will think twice before going to a show a jannus again unless they open the real bar and give us space to move and see!
Great band, love them, but the sound was muddy. Too much sub sonic bass drowned out the guitar. Could have been so much better. Need better sound engineers.
Papadosio opened with my favorite, little played song, and I think that set the tone for the night. They do an excellent job of creating waves over the course of their set, mellowing out after a peak. Much love from AVL, go see these guys!
Papadosio absolutely killed it. They are really going places with their new stuff, really experimental and crazy weird jams. If you are into jam bands you will love Papadosio, and if you aren't into jam bands, you will be after seeing Papadosio.
Papadosio is part of the next generation of jam bands. They are a hard working outfit and clearly have a plan. I was glad I saw them at this point because after this tour their popularity will definitely soar. This will be the last time they will play to a half full House of Blues. Great show, great energy. Having seen the Grateful Dead way back in the day, it's nice to see the flame is being carried on by a new generation of bands. The fusing of electronica and improvisation was pioneered by bands such as STS9, but lyrics were never part of their plan. Papadosio have bridged that gap. Bravo, keep up the good work!
Papadosio brought the groove and the power! There was very little down time between songs, and no set break. Light show was legit too!
Too awesome! Got my tickets fast from Will Call, and enjoyed the show!
Overall this band is awesome. I'd highly encourage any venue to book them. Preferably a venue that provides basic resources such as air conditioning (making sure patrons are at a comfortable temp in crowded area) and the availability of free accessible water. These basic things are sometimes not provided by some venues or at all shows. However, the Filmore Silver Spring rightfully provided these amenities. Although it seems like common sense, I have been to shows that do not provide these resources. This is essential for a safe atmosphere, especially for elderly patrons (which I saw at this show), as well as patrons with medical conditions.
The warm up DJ was lame... and to make matters even worse... Papadosio didn't take the stage until 11:15 PM (it was actually closer to 11:30 PM) the worse part is they didn't play any of the songs from T.E.T.I.O.S. or Observations that I expected them to. I ended up leaving at 12:30PM. Better off listening to their album(s). VERY disappointing!
Earthnight gets better every year. I only caught the Dopapod and the Dosio sets but everything I saw was truly phenomenal
Twiddle really did shine during their set. Papadosio was incredible (as one would expect). They never disappoint. Amazing music, amazing vibes!
This show was amazing, great setup, very open, plenty of standing room. The light show was great, as well as the vendors just ourside the main room. However, I was disappointed that my bag was searched, felt violated. And I paid for a ticket, however it was not even checked or taken at the entry.
I had the most amazing time ever! My b day weekend could not of got any better!!
