Dopapod has been a long time favorite for me. Each musician is incredibly talented. Their songs perfectly coordinated yet explorative. Lyrics witty and memorable. Their jams immersive and evoking high energy fun.
Great experience! They are really a great jammy band. Very good with tension and release. The man on the keys really drives home the sound overall. He's a madman. Their guitarist isn't ever too flashy, but can really jam. He's very good and plays in a very Humble way. Everyone was great! Overall great show. Venue sounded great as well! Very intimate experience with the size of venue being on the smaller side. Yep! Good stuff :)
I was up front, had a phenomenal time!!!! Very much worth buying your tickets ahead of time at this venue too, I skipped allll the lines and got a spot on the rail!
Very entertaining, super talented band. Amazing value at $27.50, all inclusive. Tally Ho Theater is a fun place. Fairly intimate yet roomy old theater. Big dance floor and VIP section in the old balcony. I thought sound was good everywhere. Will definitely return!
They take you places every time. These guys are Mega-Gents. ≥ ≤ [_] [_] √ /VVVV\ \∆∆∆∆/
Great show by the band. According to the promo- doors were to open at 7 and band come on at 8. Turned out, doors opened around 7:30, band came on around 8:30. It was a small crowd, so I get it, but when you paid for table seats and the stragglers are using tables as well it is tough knowing you paid quite a bit more than everyone else that was there. Food was excellent and service was top notch.
Dopapod is one of the best bands I have ever seen. They. Make. Me. Dance. I will see them every chance I get.
Decent sized crowd (given covid) and we enjoyed a little extra space on the balcony. These shows usually sell out way in advance. The band opened with a new song, covered Ernest Seitz (rare,) Billie Eilish and played an astounding version of Psycho Nature. Second set the power went out during a rest in Faba, which led to an impromptu Garbage Man (partially solo) finished by the rest of Faba. It was serendipitous, and the fans were enthusiastic. I wish more things in life delivered the way this band does.
I don't even know where to begin in regards to how awful this venue is.. The speakers are always terrible at the Paradise Rock Club. The employees look and act like tough thug convicts and it's the most unsettling vibe ever. They literally glare at people and look so angry it's the worst energy possible. Every other show I've gone to here, the staff wind up ruining it for me.. If not the staff then it's the loud drunk annoying sorority girls from Boston University. Overall this venue is terrible and i'm reminded of this every time I go. This being said, Dopapod did nothing wrong, the show was incredible.
