  • Ticket Master Review .

by MDJ on 9/26/23The Capitol Theatre - Port ChesterRating: 5 out of 5

It was a show. You should send a representative to view the show. It’s very annoying to complete these reviews. Ticketmaster doesn’t really care about what you think.

  • Cool

    by Bob B on 9/22/23The Wilbur - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

What an incredible performance. Went with some old DeadHead friends from UMass and we all agreed that this was surprisingly good. The Wilbur is a nice venue, too.

  • Oteil at the Stone Pony

by What the Heller on 9/18/23The Stone Pony - Asbury ParkRating: 5 out of 5

Great show fabulous band, great material. Oteil is a band leader of a tight band mixing the dna of the Allman Brothers and the Dead with a little Stanley Clarke and Jaco mixed in.

  • Best musicians ever

  • Simply FANTASTIC

by Paula on 9/18/23The Stone Pony - Asbury ParkRating: 5 out of 5

An AMAZING performance in the one & only Stone Pony! Who can ask for more! The room is great! Small but Mighty. The sound was fantastic no matter where you stood. Oteil & Friends play seamlessly together! Such a talented group of performers who genuinely seem to enjoy one another. It was a truly delightful time! Thank you... for a real good time!! XO

  • What a show should be

by JAH on 7/31/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Show was excellent and the venue was very good. I enjoyed Oteil much better than Dead&Co at Citifield. Great setlist that tended to JGB songs. How often do you get a Dark Star and an Elizabeth Reed on the same night? Ticket price was reasonable (for these days) although I still gripe about the service charge. Sony Hall is a great venue. I don't know if the show was a sellout but the place was full but not overly so. My GA ticket allowed me to choose a seat or stand on the floor. At my advanced age I chose to sit but could have done both. Food and drink service was efficient and attentive. Drink prices seemed to be higher than usual, even for the city, and no cheap domestic beer (ie. Budweiser) was available but that's a minor complaint.

  • The Melvin Seals Show?

by oldhippiesteve on 9/19/22Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 4 out of 5

Beautiful old venue, happy friendly staff, skittles were not too expensive, great sound... Well there were some bumps along the way, but u could easily tell thats these people loved playing with each other... Skerik as a sit in on the sax was a pleasant surprise... each artist had his moment to show their virtuosity in this jamband setting... but, i must admit, Melvin Seals really stole the show... thinking about the fact that i first saw him 40 years ago, his fingers never missed a step... Oteil was the backbone of the festivities, Melvin the heart, Stevie Kimock showed some of his brilliant, genius mind...the drummer, another Kimock, was eclectically understated, a rock steady apparently designed to let his bandmates shine... pay the $$$, the smile plastered onto your face during and after the show was worth the price of admission... Peace

  • Huber Heights ain’t what you remember growing up.

by Diff on 9/11/22The Rose Music Center at The Heights - Huber HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

Wonderful venue. Sound has been good each time I visit…may be due to location though. Friends that visit more often have some complaints. Anyhow….easy parking…easy entry… Yellow jackets aren’t too bad although aisle dancing is prohibited.

  • Outstanding!

by revbean on 9/11/22The Rose Music Center at The Heights - Huber HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

Outstanding performance. Outstanding venue. It was wonderful to see Melvin grooving on the big stage, perhaps the best I have ever seen the Reverend play. And Oteil is out of this world playing lead on the bass. The music is in good hands and the flame burns brightly. Incredible renditions of Mystery Train>That's What Love Will Make You Do>Bird Song and, oh my, Franklin's Tower>Turn On Your Lovelight...the boys played a damn good show!

  • Great Show

  • Great show

by Dave on 3/16/22The Capitol Theatre - Port ChesterRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent group of musicians, hot set list (the "Attics" was absolutely gorgeous, "Gotta Serve Somebody," "Hot 'Lanta," "Terrapin," and "Believe It or Not" among the highlights) and the best venue.

  • Oteil and Friends

Saturday, March 12, 2022 at the Capitol Theatre. My husband died last October. Since October, the only time I have found some peace were the hours I spent at the "Oteil and Friends" show. Fabulous musicians! I wish the horn section had been a little louder because they were rocking it! Love Oteil, great voice, always smiling; he sends out such good vibes. Love "Weather Report Suite" and "Terrapin". I would have liked to have heard "Fire on the Mountain," but the show was brilliant!
