Orlando City SC History

Orlando City entered the league for the 2015 season, signing former Ballon d'Or winner Kaká to be the team’s first designated player. The veteran Kaká was paired with Canadian rookie Cyle Larin, who scored 17 goals in 27 games during his debut campaign, a new record for MLS rookies. Larin won Rookie of the Year honors for the 2015 season, which saw Orlando barely miss the playoffs by just one point in the stacked Eastern Conference.

Taking over in 2019 as head coach, Óscar Pareja led the club to its first playoff qualification in 2020 and guided Orlando City to their first trophy as a team in 2022, winning the U.S. Open Cup Final. In 2023, the team placed as runners-up for the Supporters’ Shield.

Orlando City SC at Inter&Co Stadium (Formerly Exploria Stadium)

As MLS grew in 2010, Orlando was granted one of the league's expansion teams. The 25,500-seat venue also hosts the Orlando Pride of the National Women’s Soccer League.

This was my first game and it was amazing. I picked great seats and was able to see all the player’s play there best. It was also great that the Lions won. The show afterwards was awesome too, I love the 90s music. I will definitely go to more games in the future..

    Amazing energy in the stadium

by The Canadians on 3/27/24Inter&Co Stadium - Orlando

We were in Orlando for spring break from Vancouver Canada and went to both a Magic and Orlando City SC game. My 6 year old son loves sports and we try to get in some kind of sporting event on our vacations. Both were fantastic but I gotta say the soccer game went way beyond our expectations! The activities and swag from the pre game events, then the game itself. The energy in the stadium was amazing and the game very entertaining. We were there for the post game I love 90’s concert which was sooo much fun and nostalgic! My 6 year old’s first concert and he loved it! Thank you Orlando City SC for such a memorable experience. If were ever back we will definitely go to another game!

    Very surprising

by Scottish traveller on 3/1/24Inter&Co Stadium - Orlando

Stadium was very open and easy to navigate around with plenty of facilities to satisfy people's needs. Game was well priced and good value for money and staff were very welcoming and friendly all in all was a very good atmosphere. I can only compare to my experiences in Scotland as a rangers fan where things are so much more expensive and cramped.

    Poor standard of football /soccer

by Andy C on 2/28/24Inter&Co Stadium - Orlando

This was the worst game of football/soccer I have ever seen. If this is representative of MLS, then I feel sorry for the American fans. Really was disappointed with what I saw. It just lacked any obvious tactics or formation and the players seemed to lack the basic skills and footballing brains. Or maybe they all just had an off day.

First time at this Stadium and it was so crowded. The Stadium didn't open the doors until an hour before the game started. People didn't get to see the whole game because of this and the fact it was so crowded. No crowd control at the door. The food sold at the Stadium was ridiculously high! $20 for a chicken sandwich, $6 for a small bag of chips. If you are on a budget come to the Stadium with your belly full.
