The NC Symphony was outstanding -- top notch!! Steves soured the evening by beginning with several unnecessary and uninformed political talking points. His comments were in poor taste and completely out of place in such a presentation!!

Easy access helpful staff no a bad seat on the house

Our NC Symphony is one of the best experiences in Raleigh that never disappoints!

Outstanding Music, Poor Video Quality Video was los resolution, grainy, hard to see from rear of auditorium. We would think with all of today’s technology they would have had better video.

This was, hands down, one of our favorite NC Symphony concerts in years—maybe the favorite. Since Carlos Miguel Prieto took over as Music Director, the orchestra has been on an incredible upward climb. But this performance didn’t just raise the bar—it blew the roof off. With Stephanie Childress conducting, the symphony sounded like a world-class orchestra. Her energy, precision, and gift for connecting musicians created something extraordinary. Britten’s Simple Symphony was fresh and exquisite, while Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No. 2 was big, bold, and gloriously emotional. And then there was Joyce Yang. Combine her breathtaking artistry with Saint-Saëns’ genius, and you get pure magic. Words honestly fail—she didn’t just play the piano; she owned it. Every note shimmered. The orchestra rose to meet her with equal brilliance, dancing in perfect sync. Huge applause to Ms. Childress, Ms. Yang, and every single member of the NC Symphony for creating an unforgettable night of music. Bravo!

I recently attended the North Carolina Symphony Copland concert. The preconcert talk was informative and interesting. I’ll definitely plan to attend next time. The conductor obviously loved the music he directed that night. The clarinet concerto was played beautifully! His technique was flawless and interpretation was captivating. The encore was delightful.

Maestro Prieto is a treasure ! The N C Symphony features accomplished professional musicians. The all Beethoven program was brilliantly conceived and performed.

My mom is a couple weeks away from 90 years old, and this night was magical!

Was really looking forward to this concert but there was literally NOWHERE to park. I tried for 30 min and had to give up and go home. There were numerous events on the area at the same time and not anywhere close to enough parking for any of it.

Excellent!!! As always!! Never have been disappointed with the orchestra’s performance!!!!
