  • LATE

by Darlap on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 2 out of 5

What could have been an awesome experience was ruined by timing. The show was scheduled to begin at 930 and didnt start until 1130. Jelly Roll says on twitter that is when he was scheduled. If it wasn't for the fact we were left waiting for so long for no good reason it could have been great.

  • Awful

by Michele S. on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 1 out of 5

The line was over a two hour wait to get into an event I bought tickets for. I’m a single Mom and wasted my money because we were not waiting two hours to get into the door. Then I also had a disappointed son that didn’t get to go to the NBA Experience. Wasted $30 to park for nothing. Never had an experience like this ever!

  • Too many people

by Chris on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 1 out of 5

They oversold the event...lines were too long to do most of the activities, crowds too big to see the action on the courts at both the Wilson court and Starry court. It would've been better if they set a maximum number of people for each session - it felt like they sold as many tickets as they could without considering how the crowds would impact fan experience. I wouldn't go again unless they made changes.

  • Great idea but terrible execution

by KB on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 1 out of 5

There was not enough organization and line/crowd control for this event. Signage and more stanchions would have helped for better control. Once you were inside, it was too packed to be able to do or see anything. I would recommend limiting the number of attendees or adding extra groupings of times if needed.

  • 2024 All Star Crossover

by Tree on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

I enjoyed myself. Lots of activities to do. Could’ve had more vendors giving away souvenirs, and more food vendors too! Overall it was a great event in Indy.

  • Too many people…

by Linz on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 3 out of 5

We got there after 1:00pm for the noon entry time and had to wait almost 45 minutes just to get into the event space. Then once inside you had to wait in long lines to do anything. Not worth it with young kids.

  • Crossover concert

by Kris on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 4 out of 5

The concert was great! I was worried about it only having standing room and not having seating but it wasn’t a problem at all! It wasn’t over crowed and the shower kept the crowd entertained until the actual concert started!!!

  • A Cool Experience

by Marco’s Modern Life on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 4 out of 5

Overall I thought NBA Crossover was a very cool event! There were lots of booths and displays you could go to it was very inclusive and interactive which the kids loved and made it fun for everyone. The only reasons I did not give the event five stars are because the lines to get in the event were ridiculous. It seemed a bit unorganized and people literally waited hours to get in. Also the lines to do the activity were long as well, but that is to be expected with a big event. Other than these two things the event was great and we had lots of fun!

  • Crowded and unpleasant

by Chris on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 1 out of 5

I'm glad we had this event in Indianapolis, and hope the All-Star game comes here again. But the cross-over event was overbooked, crowded, and felt poorly managed. The line to get in was crazy long.

  • Allstar weekend

by Monie on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 3 out of 5

Concerts was great .. however lines extremely long and unorganized especially the crossover.

  • Logistical Nightmare

by Indy on 2/20/24Rating: 2 out of 5

This was a great event in theory. Opportunities to meet/see players, arcade type experiences and plenty to do! The issue is this experience was grossly oversold/over-admitted. The lines were atrocious and walking around was a challenge because there were thousands of people in one (relatively) small convention room. Not to mention the lines to get in were a nightmare if you were coming anywhere close to the concert times. Poor directions on where to enter the convention center and almost no one knew where to direct us when we asked for instructions. This was really the only blemish on a great all star weekend.

Great experience Great experience Great experience

  • Great but some easy fixes are needed

by Crossover fan on 2/19/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 3 out of 5

The NBA crossover in general is a great experience. It’s highly geared to youth and young adults. Tones of great partner brand activations. Lots of free swag for fans. Overall a great fan experience…. A few simple changes would fix some real guest pit falls. 3 items made the guess experience very challenging at points 1. Every brand attraction required a separate multipage digital waiver to be filled out well in line or at the point of the experience. So if you attended six different executions, you filled in six different multipage, liability, waivers. Even to get into the Nike custom area to buy a 150 shirt you required proof that you had the app and you were not allowed in to buy something you can buy retail. The data collection was over the top and took way too long to keep entering data. There should be one waiver, pre-entry that you sign and all the partners get to share the data. This will save hours of lineup time with people standing, waiting to fill out waivers before they can join the experience and line hold up while people were filling out waivers. 2. The line to get in each day was over 2000 people for most hours of the day. It was 5X any of the worst lineups you’ve ever seen at any Disney attraction. When purchasing tickets they should be purchased based on arrival time, give people a three hour window of arrival. Many large event now run this way, and it makes the entry process so much smoother. Also limit the number of tix sold for each day. I witnessed people leaving or looking to change the day in the tix as the line was over 2 hours and people were leaving before that got through the line. I have seen this as several crossovers over the years now. 3. Many of the brand activations had swag giveaways that were XL and double XL for an event that had a very large base of youth and kids that were the ones standing in lines to get this swag. The XXL fans were not standing in lines for this stuff as much? The event is a highlight for many and it’s really well laid out with great items, but the lines to get in were among the most unorganized I have seen for an attraction of this size. Easy fix will make the is a home run.

  • Lots of money for lots of lines

by Deadhead on 2/19/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 3 out of 5

Decent event but felt like kings island. Lots of money to have the kids stand in hour long lines with VIP people cutting line. They didn't communicate to lines when athletes were late or leaving early so stood in unnecessary lines.

  • It was exciting and good old fashioned fun!

by Britt on 2/19/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

We bought tickets to the Friday 3pm Crossover event. It was engaging. There were lots of activities. My favorite was Dropping the Dime We were celebrating Brenda's Birthday. We both won 2 sets of tickets to. It was unbelievable and so fun. Everybody was cheering. We went to Friday night Celebrity Basketvsll game and Saturday NBA Practice. Also, won more tickets to Crossover event!.

  • Dope experience

by JB on 2/19/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

This was a really dope experience. I hope the NBA continues to have these at all star weekend and keep bringing in artists to perform at them.

  • Not worth the money

by Lou on 2/19/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 1 out of 5

All the events were crammed into one area of the convention center. Lines were a mess and had no organization. Also disappointed to have paid the money we did and felt like we couldn’t attend events because of crowd management. We would have missed basketball events if concerts and signings were attended, so we skipped those events even though we paid for them.
