  • Ok but nothing special

by PacerDon on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 3 out of 5

Not sure what I expected but for $35 it needed to be more. The RV outdoor or Spring Patio show is better. Very few giveaways. Nothing truly exciting to see. Probably good for kids, but I wasnt blown away. As a free event, it would have been fine, but not sure what my $$ got me.

  • INDY

Great time! Indy always nails these big events! bravo!

  • Disappointment to say the least

by EB on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 1 out of 5

Unorganized, No direction, players are there for 30 minutes and lines are miles long. Says autographs but only 1 player signed. Have to sign up for apps to even get a picture, If you want to meet players (a joke) you stand in line the whole time you are there. You cannot enjoy anything because you are waiting in line, then they don't tell you where the cutoff is, they just let you stand there for over an hour only to find out the player you were standing there for is no longer there. This was a joke.

  • Great all star experience but..

    by KC1294 on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 3 out of 5

The NBA crossover was one of the best places I’ve ever experienced as an NBA fan. There was a dedicated VIP lounge for wristband holders, multiple meet and greets, and many games to play basketball. It’s amazing that it is a once in a lifetime event and was glad to be here for it on Saturday. Unfortunately the downside of the event was horrendous organization of lines especially for VIP holders. The event map wasn’t user friendly to use on the app. If there was a pamphlet to use would’ve made it easier to have a layout of the staging areas. Beside that con, the attendants were great people but wish they could’ve outlined the VIP specific lines with proficiency.

  • Hot Mess

by Tonie Tone on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 1 out of 5

Got to this event 2 hours early it was mass chaos!!! No one to direct the crowds of people we got in a line that wrapped around the building twice. Stood in line for 2 hours and still nowhere near the entrance to this event so we got out of line and just took a loss on the tickets. So annoyed but we found other things to do to make the best of the day.

  • Long wait

by Mike on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 3 out of 5

So the Jelly Roll concert was to begin at 9:30. 11:30 he finally shows up. Long time to stand around. I guess he wanted to stay to see the slam dunk contest. Would have been nice to have known that. Other than that Jelly Roll was awesome.

  • Long entry line

by Ja on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 3 out of 5

The entry line was ridiculous with no type of order. We arrived at 2:15pm for a 3pm event and didn’t get in until 4:00pm. By then the kids were mad and it took away from the event. Inside was good, lots of things to do.

  • NBA Crossover

by Brooklyn BDub on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 4 out of 5

Great experience but I think a two hours head start for VIP instead of just one hour. Great event all the way around.

  • Way Overcrowded and somewhat disappointing

by PJ Murphy on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 2 out of 5

I had tickets to enter the NBA Crossover Event at 3pm. Thinking I might get in early my son and I arrived a little after 2:30 to find a long line snaking throughout the halls of the Indianapolis convention center. We finally entered the event a little after 4pm. Once inside, we had missed several of the meet and greets my son wanted to catch and the ones that were still going on typically ended as we were in line for them. In fact, the only thing we got to see in its entirety was a pickle ball match featuring two former NBA players. All in all this event was a great idea in theory. I know it was extremely popular, but I doubt I'd buy - or recommend - tickets for other similar events in the future.

  • Worst Event I have Ever Attended in Indy

by Shaun on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 1 out of 5

As a lifetime resident and frequenter of events that come to Indy, the NBA Crossover was a disaster. The entire set up for entering the event was botched. They sold way too many tickets. The event was cool, but there was no way to do any most of the activations due to the crowd. My suggestion would have been to increase the price and admit far less people. It was a terrible experience for most everyone I talked to that went. Even if it was an NBA event, it made Indy look like they had never hosted an event of this size. Having the concert entrance at the same spot as the Crossover was another questionable decision. I would never go back to an event like this.

  • Fun but lacked organization

by Bear C. on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 3 out of 5

Insanely crowded. Hour+ wait times in lines for events and autographs that we still missed. Felt like we spent the entire time standing and waiting an eternity for every single thing we tried to do. Fun to be at All Star weekend, but wish this event was organized better.

  • Unorganized and disappointed

    by NBAFAN81 on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 1 out of 5

It was extremely unorganized and was very disappointed with the whole setup. Took my daughter and nephew and spent over an hour just to get inside the door. Barely had any time at the event. Wish it would have been a better experience

  • NBA cross over concert

by Whitney on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 1 out of 5

The concert itself was amazing! Walker Hayes and Keith urban did a great job! But the organization of the entire event was 1/10 rating. No one knew where people were supposed to go for the different events. We got to the venue at 2:20 for the 3pm concert and were told by 3 different people that we had to get into a massive and I mean MASSIVE line with both the concert people and the cross over people combined. We waited in line for almost an hour before one of our friends told us they were in the concert so I got out of line and wandered around instead of asking someone and found a completely different entrance with NO line to get into the concert. We were then way far back from the stage when we could have been likely front row. It was very frustrating.

  • It Wasn't Worth the Wait

by Zach on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 2 out of 5

We waited about 2 hours on Saturday to participate for only about 2 hours. The lines were ridiculously long and you only got to see about 4 or 5 activations in the allotted time and it really made the experience frustrating for me and my partner. I really wish they would have had it open longer, or had it limited to so many people at a time, with time limits.

  • NBA All-Star Crossover - Just ok

by AO on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 3 out of 5

We had a good time overall but the vast majority of attractions were some variation of waiting in a line to shoot a basketball. I think there is plenty of room for more creativity; way more kids activities, art/history displays, video games or VR experiences, more easily accessed shopping. I don't think I could recommend to a friend whether they are going alone or with friends/family.

  • Paying to stand in line

by NBA fan on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 2 out of 5

We arrived to the venue and stood in line for nearly 40 minutes, in a very disorganized line. People were cutting left and right. There was no clear end to the line. Once inside, we stood in line again and again and again. Once we were don't standing in line, we tried to get food and stood in line for another 20 minutes. We felt like we wasted money going to this event. We tried to buy basketballs and they were sold out. The event itself could be great, but they need to limit how many tickets were sold so that we could participate in more activities. Also, the claw machines were totally rigged.

  • Keith Urban Concert

by Magic Summer Tour 2024 on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

I was only there for Keith Urban. Keith puts on the best show every time he steps on stage!! He is always the best part of any event!! I'm so grateful I got to see him!!

  • Offerings were cool but WAY too many people

by Jim on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 3 out of 5

The set-ups from various sponsors were really neat and we even caught a few NBA players from afar. But the logistics to get in and the sheer number of people inside soured what could have been a spectacular event.

  • Crossover just ok

by Home town fan on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 3 out of 5

Way too crowded to enjoy much. Difficult to determine entrances. No signs or banners visible to direct where the line started to get in. When inside only did a couple of activities. Long lines and not even sure what was going on at some of the booths. Basketball court was nice but hard to find out what was going on and times of different activities. Neat idea and got a few family fun photos. We attended the similar event when Indy hosted the Super Bowl. No comparing the two! Super Bowl was much more interactive and lines moved faster. The Super Bowl event started earlier and lasted later so could do a lot more. Trying to exit the Crossover was a nightmare with exiting where people were try to line up for a concert. Still was a fun day but not sure worth the hype.

  • Could have been great, but too crowded

by Adam S on 2/20/24Indiana Convention Center - IndianapolisRating: 2 out of 5

The Crossover event had a ton of great experiences, however, the line to get in (even with timed entrances) and the amount of waiting that occurred for each experience was a killer to the event. A lot of the activities would have been great for kids, but keeping their interest while waiting in long lines was tough. It could have worked better if you entered at a specific time and then they cleared you out at a specific time. But people seemed to make this an all day even and those who bought tickets to a later time had to compete with a ton of traffic. Overall, could have been a neat event. I'd just suggest a tweak to make it more efficient for everyone.
