About

My Morning Jacket’s 10th studio album and first full-length new collection in more than three years, is arrives via ATO Records on Friday, March 21. Produced by 3x GRAMMY Award-winner Brendan O’Brien, the album is heralded by the ravishing lead single, “Time Waited,” available everywhere now.

For more than 25 years, My Morning Jacket have achieved an incredibly rare feat in the world of rock ‘n’ roll – upholding a long-established cultural legacy while sustaining all the curiosity and creative hunger of their very earliest days. In a monumental step for the Louisville, KY-bred five-piece – vocalist/guitarist Jim James, bassist Tom Blankenship, guitarist Carl Broemel, drummer Patrick Hallahan, keyboardist Bo Koster – is once again expands the limits of their sound and elevates their artistry to unprecedented heights. The result is perhaps the most masterfully realized work yet from a band fully committed to their belief in music as a conduit for revelation of all kinds.

  • Great show, but too packed.

by Murray on 10/29/25The Salt Shed Indoors (Shed) - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

The band played great all 3 nights. The reason for 4 stars is the venue. Folks with grandstand seats or premium GA should not be allowed in the GA section. The floor was overcrowded each night. We could see the grandstands were not full, and they should be for sold out shows.

  • The boys never disappoint

by Jill the Agent on 10/29/25The Salt Shed Indoors (Shed) - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

As a long term MMJ and having missed their last tour, I was ready to get my fill. And the boys, like always, did not disappoint! I attended the 3rd night of 3 shows @SaltShed in Chicago and it was a celebration of their 20th anniversary of their album Z. We got a mix of rarer old tunes along with some of their more epic iconic tunes which, to my delight, included a really nice Dodante. It’s magic when these guys perform..,and they are consistently good. My only regret is not being there all 3 nights! Left me wanting more!

  • Morning

The Salt Shed is a premium spot to see any live music but this time around, the Cherry on top was the awesome show My Morning Jacket. They are at the top of their game. Great show!

  • chicago night 2

My Morning Jacket never disappoints! The ability to purchase VIP is great. Just to have early access!

  • More MMJ!

by Brock on 10/28/25The Salt Shed Indoors (Shed) - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

This band is in their prime! They continue to impress me on stage and with their writing of new music. Always worth the ticket price and then some! Great venue and fantastic opener! Thanks again Jacket!

  • Band was amazing! The VIP tickets were not

by SKS on 10/27/25The Salt Shed Indoors (Shed) - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

VIP tickets were not worth it in the least. The VIP tickets from a few years ago got me a very nice logoed Osprey backpack, earplugs among other items. This year it was a mini poster that wasn't really a poster -- just a random photos in a collage? I also received a cheap rolling tray. I was so unimpressed and quite disappointed. Never buying the VIP experience again.

  • Awesome show.

by Nick on 10/27/25The Sylvee - MadisonRating: 5 out of 5

Their shows are can't miss. Jim James is one of the best front men out there.

  • Fun filled nights at Brooklyn Paramount

by Tiffany on 10/27/25Brooklyn Paramount - BrooklynRating: 5 out of 5

Love this band and loved that venue! Beautiful, easy to get to and had a great time. Bars were nice Lines moved quickly. Great experience.

  • Amazing

by Tim Smith on 10/27/25The Salt Shed Indoors (Shed) - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The best kept secret in Rock 'n Roll. These guys should be playing and selling out giant stadiums and arenas. Amazing live show. The band connects with the audience like no other and they definitely feed off the crowd's energy and they leave all attendees flying high afterwards.

  • Salty

by Jeff on 10/27/25The Salt Shed Indoors (Shed) - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

MMJ is simply the best live rock band currently touring today.
