Over nine studio albums, My Morning Jacket has evolved the reverb-heavy country of their debut (1999’s The Tennessee Fire) to a sound that transcends genres. Singer-songwriter Jim James has pushed the band past their regional roots in Louisville, Kentucky, toward the psychedelic, reggae-influenced sounds on albums like It Still Moves (2003) and Z (2005) — the latter proving to be their critical breakthrough. In 2008, My Morning Jacket performed on Saturday Night Live, while their Grammy-nominated album Evil Urges became their first top 10 on the Billboard 200. The band’s rain-soaked set at Bonnaroo that same year is considered one of the festival’s most iconic, and My Morning Jacket has since shared bills with Bob Dylan, Foo Fighters and Wilco.

Every aspect was incredible!!! I had the highest of expectations, and MMJ surpassed them all. Along with beauty of the Chicago Theater and the most friendly staff, I couldn't have asked for more.
My Morning Jacket put on an amazing show and this was an It Still Moves 20th anniversary show. It felt really special to see them perform a 20 year old album and one that still holds a special place in my heart. The Chicago Theater is the best venue in Chicago so that added to the performance.

I’ve been listening to MMJ for over 20 years. Their live show has always been phenomenal and they’ve never sounded better than they did this past weekend in Chicago. I LOVED the anniversary concert for “It Still Moves”. Run, don’t walk to see their next show!
It's unreal how these guys continue to elevate their output. They just keep getting better somehow. Go check out one of their shows and be prepared to have your mind blown and your face melted.

The venue is amazing not a bad view point from anywhere, one of my favorite bands and of course they never disappoint, rock really hard fo sho.

This band is amazing but my ear drums were aching for 2 days after the concert and on the second day I had a migraine. I wore ear plugs too. I can’t see this band again.
Band was great, but up front (about 7th row) the sound not good. Couldn't hear the guitars. Was able to move to back of floor level and sound was good there. But biggest problem was people talking the whole show. This is common at this venue (and others in Birmingham) where it seems lots of the crowd is just going "out for the night"instead of to listen to music. I will avoid going back for shows here.
The Alabama theater turned out to be a poor venue for a concert. The people in front of us stood during the entire concert, and we were unable to see the stage.
The concert was awesome! A bolt of energy for the soul! Radiate the gold!

Never having been to the Met in Philly before I was very happy to see a party going on outside as I got there. Beer vendor, food, DJ. It was a great time before the show even started. And My Morning Jacket was as usual fantastic. Can't wait to see them again and visit the Met again.

My Morning Jacket at The Met in Philly was amazing! I had only been there once before and I thought the sound was pretty awful (that was standing on the floor in GA). This time I was up in the higher seated sections and it was some of the best live guitar I've ever heard!!! MMJ put on a fantastic show. I feel like I have to see them every time they come to town or I would be missing out.
I can't wait to see My Morning Jacket again tonight. I love them. Live Nation and/or The Met - don't pack the pit, or make it bigger if you want to sell so many seats. I left the area the first night I had a ticket there. Too crowded
