Welcome to the Moulin Rouge!
Baz Luhrmann's revolutionary film comes to life onstage, remixed in a new musical mash-up extravaganza. A theatrical celebration of truth, beauty, freedom and — above all — love, Moulin Rouge! is more than a musical; it is a state of mind.
How wonderful life is...at the Moulin Rouge.
Please note that due to the nature of live theater, we are unable to guarantee the presence of any particular cast members at a specific show. Thank you.
Fun show - lively music - not like the movie. 80s and 90s Pop music
You feel you are there from the minute you walk through the doors. The performance has you laughing, crying and encapsulated from start to finish. The incorporation of the new songs fit perfectly and keep it current and up to date. The Duke could have been bit more of a neek, however i can't fault this show at all. Loved it. Can't wait for it to come to the UK
The best show that I saw in my life!! Amazing, incredible, awsome! Thanks for the talent!!
Expensive Tickets fab sets costumes dancing great didn’t like lead singer or story
AMAZING SINGERS - updated music! My husband loved the movie and had highhh expectations - he wasn’t disappointed! I hated the movie and had low expectations - WOW this musical was GREAT!!!!!!
Loved the acting, singing, and dancing. The leads were amazing, as was the entire cast. Not one weak performer. And the sets, oh the sets!!! Gorgeous Parisian atmosphere. Not to mention how all the songs were seamlessly woven into the story. Best musical I have seen in years!
The set is mind blowing. The musical, while not original, is fantastic and suits every scene. The costumes are breathtaking.
If you are looking for lots of song and dance, this is the one for you. I love the song choices and the choreography. Not a lot of chemistry between the leads and short on story but very entertaining.
I only wish audience members realized unless invited to join in we come to hear the performers sing not them.
There are so many new and extended songs that weren’t in the movie. The singing and dancing were amazing! One of the top three shows we have seen.
What can I say but just amazing. brilliant cast brilliant show Aaron Tveit was born to play the role of Christian Karen Olivo just beautiful
I've seen a lot of theatre productions and a lot of Broadway productions. This was the best show I have ever seen. I always used to compare things to the Phantom of the Opera. The singing, the costumes, and the sets were all amazing and my expectations were very high.
We had seen this show in Boston during tryouts and loved it then. When they announced the Broadway run we couldn't wait to go again- We talked about several ways the show could be tweaked and improved- and guess what? They incorporated everything we hoped and more! It has now become, indeed, the Sparkling Diamond of Broadway!!!! Should not be missed....
This musical was everything I hoped for and more. The leads were incredible, with great vocals. This show is based on my favourite movie. They incorporated the story very well into the musical. They used music from the movie and also added some different music. It worked! WE LOVED IT!!
I know it’s almost impossible to change but bathrooms for ladies only on lower level really sucks- especially for elderly or less than able people. If inclusivity is your goal, bathroom parity should be on the list! But, the show is fantastic. Karen O is the bomb! Great cast and staging.
My wife and I loved the show. The music was awesome and the cast was amazing. We will be back to see it again and strongly recommend to customers who are looking for a fun filled evening or matinee.
To enjoy a true Moulin Rouge experience, I would advise sitting in orchestra. I sat 12 rows up in the balcony and although I had a good view of the stage, I just felt that I would have enjoyed the show a little closer to the stage. But of course you'll have to pay the price $$$$. Even sitting in the balcony was quite expensive.
Worth every dollar, from start to finish. The cast, the music, dancing.
Worth making a special trip to NYC to see this outstanding Musical!! From the acting, the singing, incredible dancing, the sets, the costumes... The sheer wonderment of it, left you HIGH!! This could be the best musical I've ever seen. Go take it in!!!!
Loved every minute of this show - Karen Olivo as Sateen was outstanding- but to be fair the entire cast was brilliant. Love the inclusion of some more modern songs.
