We absolutely loved this performance of Moulin Rouge the musical! So much energy and enthusiasm projected. We loved the singing, the sets, the costumes and the atmosphere. We were transported to a different place and time and we were so excited to be a part of this wonderful musical.
This show is fantastic. I’ve never seen such a beautiful set and the singers are outstanding. Unbelievable experience.
So much fun, from beginning to end tge energy is explosive. The setting. Costumes, dances, choreography are beautifully done. Out of your seat applause! Highly recommend!

What a great show, in the traditional Broadway style! Well, almost...it lacked the score of a traditional show, instead staying true to the movie on which it is based, moving the action forward with universally known pop and rock mega-hits from the last 40 years, with the one notable exception of the plot- forwarding original "Come What May", which of course was also in the movie. What WAS traditional was the show stopping dance numbers, the fantastic set design, lighting and costumes, the flawless transitions from one scene to the next...the design of the interior of the theater itself that immerses you in the setting of the Moulin Rouge before the show even begins. This is definately not like so many other shows today...cover band biographicals telling the story of your favorite rock groups. This is the timeless love story expressed in song by some of the best dancers and choreographers in the world. I would see it again!
This is an excellent show that I anticipate will win many awards!
A feast for the eyes, incredible costumes, sets, singing and dancing. And the price of the ticket a fraction of what you’d pay to see Hamilton. Well worth it!

Loved the movie and the show was amazing. I enjoyed The additional songs and mash ups. Main characters are very talented but Satine was a little more edgier than expected. Christian was fantastic!
3 of us visited from the UK with various degrees of love for the film, but we all absolutely loved the show! Some ingenious and hilarious song additions and the scenery is just incredible! Only slight negative was the drink prices , $21 for a small G&T was a shocker!!
This is the second time I have seen Moulin Rouge and it is just a fabulous show. The music is awesome and the actors super. A lot of energy and just a big bold great musical.
I was not sure what to expect but I was impressed. The show was well done and entertaining. The performers worked so well together everything was smooth. Loved it!
The good news is that the costumes, staging, music, dancing and lighting were wonderful. The bad news is that the acting was terrible. The biggest issue is that the two actors who were supposed to be lovers showed absolutely no chemistry on stage. All their scenes together were robotic. Most of the remainder of the company were just bad actors or were severely overacting. I was particularly appalled by the portrayal of Toulouse Lautrec. You made a fool of a great historical painter. The latino dance man was a bad stereotype. The whole plot was ridiculous and made doubly unbelievable by the bad acting. I am absolutely offended that I paid $250 for the ticket to this overhyped glitz that lived up to nothing.
My husband and I really enjoyed Moulin Rouge. We loved the music! Set design is wonderful.

Even before the show started, you were being prepped for things to come with Bohemian characters walking around stage smoking cigarettes, or suggestively moving their bodies. Then....the opening. Lady Marmalade - Up on our feet! What energy. Many of the original songs from the movie, plus a lot of very good additions. Voices were excellent, visuals were unbelievable. My only criticism was the song Roxanne, that lacked the power of the movie version. But....Absolutely loved this play (especially considering how expensive this was). Would do it all over again if I could afford it!

One of the best musicals I have ever seen. Music was fantastic. Each song was better than the next. Stage and costumes were visually stunning. The show is packed full of talent. I would absolutely see it again!
Whether you are a fan of the movie or not, this is an amazing musical. So much to love about the performance. I enjoyed the song updates. But thoroughly enjoyed the classics they retained. Probably my favorite musical now.
What a glorious, visually stunning, emotionally satisfying show! Great voices, gorgeous sets and costumes, delightful music. Moulin Rouge is fantastic.
