It was amazing to see an international team play! The seats we had were high up but were able to see everything. We were even able to see the fireworks over at the Navy Pier from our seats.
Beatiful game and amazing atmosphere, first time for me in SF
Parking $49, maybe you could provide a security guard or mop the boathouse bathroom. Vending prices crazy too.
Well the game was lit but the services and security were booty. Need to hire way better security that have manners
This game has forever in my memories and my heart.
I really wanted to see the game but traffic was so horrible and the officials told us to park somewhere far away so we couldn't see the game and at the end I didn't even get in I just went home sad
The game was amazing and before the game there was a fan zone action which was fun
I would give it 5 stars but we had to throw my purse away bc it didn't comply with mls rules
I drove all the way from St. Louis to attend to this game and when I got close to the stadion the whole traffic was paralyzed and not police agent to guide the traffic. I was stuck in traffic for 2 hours, less then a mile away from the stadium, and wend I finally got to the stadium, all the parking lots have been full and didn't allow anybody else. Why you organize an event and you do not have enough parking spots??? I couldn't get inside to watch the game. Stay away from Chicago events if you plan to drive.
I paid extra to be 5 rows behind the goalie. I did not know that people from other sections would be allowed into our section. People were standing in front of us and blocking the stairway that did not have seats in our section. Not to mention, none of the people in front of us would sit down at any point. My son is 9. How can he see the field when adults are standing up tin front of him he whole game. Not until the second half did Security try to get the people who did not belong out of our section. Most laughed at Security and didn't move. I finally made a suggestion to one the guards that they should stand at the top and check tickets to make sure people entering the section belong there. When I finally got upset enough to leave, I noticed that she took my advice. What should have been a great Father and Son night out ended up to be a waste of money and time.
It was a must attend thing. It was lit and fun and crazy cool
This game was a very fun experience. The quality of soccer was good, and there was just enough entertainment before the game to keep us interested such as interviews and highlight reels. The downside of this experience was the price. We paid over $100 for 300 level seats and we could not see the whole field. We also had no cover from the heavy rain which lasted the first 30 minutes of the game. The worst value was the parking fee - a whopping $49. There was no parking within 2 miles for under that price. I feel that we were gauged by the Chicago Park District.
I loved the experience at the Soldier Field. The fireworks was a big surprise but even more the staff they were very polite, fun and helpful.
This was our first trip to Chicago and to Soldier field. We are Real Madrid fans and traveled from NH to see them. The game was awesome and the stadium is really nice. It was a great show from the national anthem to the end of the game and we would come back to watch another.
After being stuck in traffic for 2.5 hours (normally 45 min.) we arrived right at the start of the Event. But would we get in, NO! All the parking lots were full and blocked off by Police. At each lot they would direct you to another one, but then that one would direct you to another one. The whole area was in gridlock and after a frustrating 1.5 hour drive around we had to give up. The city had many roads closed near the stadium because of an Fest starting the next day, and getting around was a total nightmare. I would say take public transportation, but in gridlock, even they couldn't get through. Walking A LONG WAY would be the only real option.
The game was wonderful. The access to soldiers field (my first ever time) was worse that the access to similar fields in much smaller cities in Europe. Ticketmaster tried to sneak in an extra charge of $23 for 'nothing'!
It was a great family experience. It was entertaining and family friendly. I would consider doing it again.
It was a awesome experience seeing Real Madrid here in Chicago they put up a good game with the MLS All Stars not something you see everyday
Visitor's squad introduction was not made. Not focused on players. Just a festive audiences. Far from fanatic soccer match.
