What is the Miami Open?
The Miami Open is a professional tennis tournament held annually in March in Miami, Florida that draws some of the top tennis talent on the men's and women's tours. Also known as the Miami Masters, it is an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event on the men's tour and a Premier Mandatory event on the women's tour. The tennis event is held at Hard Rock Stadium where the NFL's Miami Dolphins play among other events. It was previously held at the Tennis Center at Crandon Park in Key Biscayne just off the coast of Miami.
The event moved to Hard Rock Stadium after over $500 million was spent in renovations, including a new tennis campus featuring 29 permanent tournament and practice courts as well as additional food and entertainment facilities. The 14,000-seat center court within Hard Rock Stadium is designed for intimacy, luxury and a comfortable fan experience. A state-of-the-art in-stadium shade canopy and the largest video board in tennis offers a luxury seating experience.

Rating: 4 out of 5 Incredible day at Miami Open
by Smileclnr on 3/25/18Tennis Center at Crandon Park - Key BiscayneWhat a fantastic experience. Great tennis everywhere! Outer courts especially fun as you are very close to the court and players. Get a real feel for the speed with which they hit. Venue was lovely....food court.....comfy couches in front of large screen tv....plenty of libations available as well. Only 4 stars due to the fact it was difficult to find appropriate exit to find the busses that run to parking lots. Also once dropped in lot very difficult to find automobile as the lot is not marked in any way other than the sections. Once in section we walked around with our key trying to activate alarm to find car. This is the only thing I think could use some tweaking. Not the best parking solution. Minimally the lot needs to be marked better than is now.
Rating: 4 out of 5 Miami Open
by Elly17 on 3/24/18Tennis Center at Crandon Park - Key BiscayneThe venue is beautiful, and has a great layout. It’s very clean. The schedule was easy to follow. I enjoyed the matches. I would’ve given a 5, however, inappropriate outbursts from fans need to be addressed.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Wonderful venue; great tennis
by RafasDad on 3/24/18Tennis Center at Crandon Park - Key BiscayneMiami Open knows how to put on a tennis event. Thoroughly enjoyable time. Wide open spaces to walk around; plenty of great tennis to watch; wide variety of food; attractive grounds. You can even bring your own sealed water bottle (no hard containers allowed) which is unheard of at major sports events. Very friendly atmosphere, welcoming staff. As you would expect, prices for food and drink in the stratosphere so expect to pay big time. We liked going during first week because crowds are smaller; you can choose to float between matches in outer courts and see lots of different players. Keep in mind you don't have to see the big names to witness unbelievably great tennis action.
Rating: 2 out of 5 Disappointing
by Anonymous on 3/23/18Tennis Center at Crandon Park - Key BiscayneI've to Indian Wells and the US Open and this tournament falls far short of both of those. Even the tournament in Cincinnati is better run than this one.
Rating: 5 out of 5 We saw a lot without ever having to walk far.
by tennisnutcase on 4/24/17Tennis Center at Crandon Park - Key BiscayneI was impressed that the site for this tournament wasn't huge and sprawling with concrete everywhere. For me, it was nice to walk under the canopy of trees as we walked from one court to another, and to be able to access all courts quickly and easily. Parking was a bit confusing, as there were few signs, which were easy to miss. Fortunately, we were with a friend who figured out where to go. I look forward to another visit to the Miami Open!

Rating: 5 out of 5 worth it!
by loco5 on 4/8/17Tennis Center at Crandon Park - Key Biscaynethe best final ever! federer vs nadal. Can't ask for more. The only things is the crazy traffic in Miami and Key Biscane for the man's final. The hole bridge was bumper to bumper and for general parking you need to take a bus shuttle so it all takes time. Make sure you leave at least 3hrs early so you don't miss anything. Plus is nice to get there early and enjoy some food and drinks. They got great food vendors.

Rating: 3 out of 5 Terrible venue
by Agmay on 4/5/17Tennis Center at Crandon Park - Key BiscayneAllow at LEAST an hour drive time if not staying on Key Biscayne. Shabby, neglected facilities, long lines for everything. Crowd energy more appropriate for soccer than tennis. Not a repeat event for me.
Rating: 5 out of 5by Kaushu on 4/5/17Tennis Center at Crandon Park - Key Biscayne awesome exp watching Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal for the first time
