What is the Miami Open?

The Miami Open is a professional tennis tournament held annually in March in Miami, Florida that draws some of the top tennis talent on the men's and women's tours. Also known as the Miami Masters, it is an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event on the men's tour and a Premier Mandatory event on the women's tour. The tennis event is held at Hard Rock Stadium where the NFL's Miami Dolphins play among other events. It was previously held at the Tennis Center at Crandon Park in Key Biscayne just off the coast of Miami.

The event moved to Hard Rock Stadium after over $500 million was spent in renovations, including a new tennis campus featuring 29 permanent tournament and practice courts as well as additional food and entertainment facilities. The 14,000-seat center court within Hard Rock Stadium is designed for intimacy, luxury and a comfortable fan experience. A state-of-the-art in-stadium shade canopy and the largest video board in tennis offers a luxury seating experience.

  • Miami Open 2025

by Silvana on 3/26/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 5 out of 5

The Miami Open experience was amazing. I loved everything. I liked the common area and the space that Itaú offered. Very comfortable, easy access to the stadium, the games and seeing my idols training were wonderful. Everything was great. Congratulations.

  • It was ok

by DA on 3/26/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 4 out of 5

The matches were fantastic. The food was quite expensive and more healthy options are needed. Your staff often came off harsh and rushed. Your parking is tough to say the least. And please, the stadiums had so much trash.. that really could be better. But you have a great Venue

  • Loved the event! Parking not so much

by Paola on 3/26/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 4 out of 5

The Miami Open was amazing! I have been going for several years now and it's very well organized and entertaining. I believe there's room of improvement for the parking, even though I paid for the parking in advanced (purchased the ticket online), it took us an hour to find a spot, we were redirected to several lots around the area many times until we were able to park in a lot that was not near the Stadium and got a shuttle there to the Stadium. That has got to be more organized and synchronized with the collaborators because instructions were not cleared.

  • Excellent experience

Ease to manage the app . Great event!!!! Hope I can come back next years !!!!!

  • Awesome Experience.

by Jeff on 3/26/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 4 out of 5

In the Grandstand, you had a good close view from any seat. In the stadium, many were turned around because the small bag was too big; this was not a problem in the Grandstand. Could not fins any souvenir places in the stadium. Actually the best experience was in the Grandstand.

  • Sadly we saw one match

by Chelsea Bonifaz on 3/26/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 2 out of 5

It rained on tuesday so we only got to see one match ínstead of two.

  • Not beat location

by Katrin on 3/26/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 3 out of 5

Bad parking, stupid rules, not suitable stadium for tennis

  • Most unorganized event I’ve ever attended

by Nancy on 3/26/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 1 out of 5

Gates open at 10. Wanted to watch practice sessions when it opened. Parking didn’t open until 10. Got in traffic line 3 days in a row at 9:15. Lines so long didn’t get into park until almost 11. Only way to get schedule of play was cell phone. Schedule often wrong. Food vendors were way overpriced with poor quality of food. Went to Miami Open several times at Key Biscayne which was soooo much better as were Indian Wells, Del Ray Beach, Cincinnati and Charlotte! Will never go back!!!!

  • Poor Parking

by Felipe on 3/26/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 3 out of 5

Parking is poor; there is no good signage, and the parking session displayed when you purchase a parking space is meaningless and does not help in finding a spot.

  • Match itself great!

by JW on 3/26/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 4 out of 5

Match itself is great. I really enjoyed the vibes in the stadium and BUTCH BUCHHOLZ. However, management of entry can be improved. I brought a small bag with me and was told at the entrance that I had to use a locker to store it after a long line-up. It shall have signs to remind us before we line up.

  • Very good day

by Michael on 3/25/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 4 out of 5

We had a great day, but you asked, so here are a few suggestions. 1) It would have been helpful to have several location key boards so you can understand where the next court is that you're trying to find. "You are here"kind of thing. 2) More tables and chairs would be nice. 3) Let's say you're on an outside court watching a match and need to use the restroom, but they won't let you back in even though someone was holding your chair or bench. We pay a lot of money to have access to the campus and there should be some system to be able to get back to where you were sitting. Not fair. Other than that, it was a great day.

  • Amazing

by Gardenrose on 3/24/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 5 out of 5

An amazing event to see all the best players up close. Your ticket gives you access to all the matches. The worst part is having to pick if you want to watch a little of each match or a whole match. Also the practice times are amazing. We saw Fritz, Sheldon, Zverev and Gauff all next to each other at the same time. Incredible. We loved it so much we bought tickets for another day.

  • Easy entry

by Cliff on 3/24/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 5 out of 5

Very easy entry to event with mobile tickets scanned.

  • Small Things Need Improvement

by Brown on 3/24/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 4 out of 5

Food service was extremely unorganized and took forever. Food was fine but quesadillas took 20 minutes and there was no communication on food progress. Attendees began cussing at workers. Uber dropoff and pickup could have been much better organized. Live schedules of events throughout the facility would have helped us decide where to go better. Good tennis. Good weather. Would attend again but would smuggle in my own food and plan my entire day's schedule ahead of time.

  • Perfect

by Camila on 3/24/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 5 out of 5

A wonderful event, very organized, with everything you need, food, drinks and entertainment. I had a lot of fun and great opportunities to watch good matches on court

  • Excellent 2025 Miami Tennis Open

by Stev on 3/24/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 5 out of 5

We all had a great time at the 2025 Miami Open, again this year. Seating, grounds, tennis courts, parking, & food were all good. Only suggestion is to add additional drinking fountains around courts 1-6 and court 7. Excellent players, men and women; excellent tournament.

  • Super organized

by Thiago Chahade on 3/24/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 5 out of 5

The tennis event was incredibly well organized. Everything ran smoothly, and it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into planning. The venue had excellent infrastructure, with great access and plenty of space for parking. Food and beverage options were varied and easily accessible, which made the experience even more enjoyable. However, one thing I missed was the presence of official merchandise stores. It would have been great to buy event-themed products or souvenirs. Also, some official giveaways or branded freebies would have added a special touch. Overall, a fantastic event with just a few gaps.

  • Great tennis day!

by Chris on 3/24/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 5 out of 5

Very good event in general, with a lot of attractions. In my opnion the stadium is not worth the price, unless you choose seats very close the court.

  • Great Tournament

by Pinggreg on 3/24/25Hard Rock Stadium - MiamiRating: 5 out of 5

I attended the tournament for three days from March 19-21, 2025. I had a great time, watching the first and second round matches. My favourite players played on the smaller courts and I loved sitting so close to them. You get such a great perspective as to their athleticism. Also, they signed autographs and took selfies after their matches and you could get up close and personal to them. Both players I saw, Leylah Fernandez and Anna Kalinskays, were very friendly and gracious to the fans. This was my first time at the tournament and it was a learning experience. The temperature was in the high twenties Celsius (high seventies F) and there was not a cloud in the sky. Next time, I would wear a floppy hat rather than my golf hat. Also, the bleacher seats were hard on my backside and back. Therefore, I would buy a stadium cushion in advance and take it with me. For sure, I recommend sunscreen. A bottle of water is $6.00 U.S. So, bring your own water - it is allowed in. My only criticism of the tournament is that the food concessions are very limited. Not very much choice. And typically expensive for sporting events. But that is a minimal complaint. The tournament is very well organized with a large number of helpful, friendly employees and volunteers.

  • Amazing experience.

The venue and the event were great. My partner and I enjoyed our time that evening.
