by Angie on 6/16/25Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

This was just the breath of fresh air I needed! Mamma Mia was a delightful distraction from the heaviness of these days! I laughed, danced, sang, smiled and felt part of this fantastically fun musical creation! What a blast!

  • Fantastic performance!

by SeaViewer on 6/16/25Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

This was such a fun experience. The cast was exceptional. We couldn’t help but notice with the male leads how much better they were at singing than the male leads in the movie! The whole cast was great. Really enjoyed the entire performance.

  • Anyone who loves ABBA (and anyone else) will love this

by LISA on 6/15/25Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

This was fan-freakin'-tastic! The show was the best musical I've been to so far. The actors were amazing and the singing was off the charts good. I loved the entire thing. My daughter also loved it even though she's only heard the songs in my car! She said she wants to do that for a living bc it looks so fun! The cast deserved the standing ovation that they received. Bravo!

  • Bring ear protection

by Liz on 6/13/25ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 1 out of 5

While the show itself was wonderful, the experience at Gammage Theater in Tempe, AZ left much to be desired. We were in row 11, left side orchestra, and a speaker was onstage directly in front of us. I had to sit with my hands over my ears for much of the show. They also allowed people to buy food and bring it into the theater for the second act. Listening to people chew and crunch and smelling their food might be fine for a $12 movie ticket, but it was not tolerable when I spent several hundred dollars on our seats. Very disappointed. When I contacted them by email to tell them what happened, they stated that MOVIE volume is set in production. WHAT??? This was a live performance! Never again will I spend all that money for a seat at Gammage.

  • Amazing!

by Kiwimom on 6/13/25Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

My teen daughter and I had a blast! Singing, dancing and comedy was on point! And the dance party that breaks out at the end was the perfect ending! Would love to go again.

I had forgotten how much fun this is! From the moment the curtains open to the very end. And Do Not leave when you think the play is over!

  • Goosebumps and Laughs

    by Donna O on 6/7/25ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 4 out of 5

Full of comedic surprises due to the talented director. Great vocal performances. One song literally gave me goosebumps. There were times I couldn’t hear Sophia’s boyfriend; needs to project his voice better. I will not purchase tickets in the balcony at this venue again; too steep; distorted the view of the stage.

  • Ok performance at ASU Gammage

by Andrea on 6/4/25ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 3 out of 5

Loved the music but the leading lady didn't sound great. We went on the last night so it's possible she was having issues with her voice. She sounded like she was straining and not always in key or with the music. Also, several of the actors were a bit boring to watch, just standing there with arms at their sides not doing much but singing. To me, Mamma Mia should have more life! But overall it was fun and we enjoyed the show.

  • Mama Mia !

by Sophie on 6/4/25ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

I picked really good seats, could see everything well. ABBA music is one of my favorites and this show did not disappoint. I’ve seen it 3 times and both movies many times. Total feel good stuff. The actors played their parts well and made you believe! I’m sure I’ll see it live again!

  • Awesome

    by Candy P. on 6/4/25ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

I've seen Mamma Mia a couple of times. This was by far the best version I've seen so far. It made me laugh so hard it hurt. Very impressive performers.

  • Hilarious, wonderful show

    by Mandarin72 on 6/4/25ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

We saw Mama Mia at gammage and it was excellent. My mom had seen it before and said this was better. The actress playing the mom was exquisite. I would see it again just to hear her sing again. The women who played her friends were hysterical and performed some great physical comedy. The music is just so good and even though it wasn’t written for the exact scenarios in the show, the vibe of the songs provides so much of the emotion the show. We thoroughly enjoyed the show!

  • Fabulous show!

    by Nana23 on 6/4/25ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

We saw Mama Mia years ago, and loved it. This newer version was excellent! It was hilarious, and fun to watch. The actors, singers, and dancers, were exceptional!

  • Mama Mia

by WenTay on 6/4/25ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

My daughter and I love, love this movie and the musical did not let us down. It was engaging, funny, not a dull moment in the 2.5hrs. The only negative I'd say was more to the venue and sound management. Often the orchestra music was louder than the singer so made it hard to understand a few lines/words. We were sitting in Orchestra B, row 20 so seating for the performance was perfect.

  • Third time

by Zim on 6/4/25ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

Our third show and it just keeps getting better!! The small changes made were exactly what the show needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the show. We can’t wait for the next tour.

  • Dress the Part

by Can’t Stop Singing on 6/3/25ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

Our family went to the show wearing clothes that fit the theme of wedding in Greece. We were thrilled to see others in similar themed attire. It added to the experience of the show. The music draws you in with exceptional performances. The time flew by in magical splendor. This show is worth every penny!
