    The magic lights were amazing.

by Evelyn on 1/3/24PNC Bank Arts Center - Holmdel

It was my first time going with my husband and our two kids. My daughter was so excited seeing all the characters of Christmas lit up she was loving it. They had different Christmas themes for the light show. After we finished the lighting tour we stopped in the village where they had more Christmas decorations and a Santa shop for pictures with Santa. The place was perfect for taking beautiful pics. They had a small ice rink for everyone to enjoy and smores roasting by a fire pit. It was wonderful. We are definitely coming back next year.

    Light Show

by Tresia on 1/3/24Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater - Wantagh

The light show is ok after seeing it for the second time. I think they should add more lights and give a new surprise every year.

    Waste of money

by Tommy on 1/3/24PNC Bank Arts Center - Holmdel

From the start, the ticket service was very confusing when attempting to purchase tickets for a future date. It seemed as though there were different options of ticket classifications, yet there was only one available. Nothing was legitimately specified as to when you can utilize your purchased ticket. With that, once we got there, it appeared that most of the lights were either not turned on or they weren’t working at all. While driving through, I understand there will be some sort of traffic with vehicles driving slowly to enjoy the lights that they can but when approaching the Christmas village, there were no directional signs observed until the turn off that led you to the parking lot with access to the village. This backed up traffic tremendously, for no reason. There were cars switching lanes clearly not knowing that one lane continue to the lights while the other continue to the village. This needs to be executed better.

Not enough bang for the Buck

by NZIE on 1/2/24PNC Bank Arts Center - Holmdel

Although We did not park and see Santa's workshop the overall light show was small. I think there could be alot more displays and whimsy. The entire show took maybe 15 to 20 mins and wasn't worth what We paid to get in and the 40 minute ride to the PNC. I wish the unused parking lot was full of blow ups or lit xmas trees. Maybe have characters walking around to wave and Give out stickers or lolipops. There should be signs for the xmas station before the ticket booth so that you can get into the groove.

    Very nice but wrong address

by nat on 1/2/24Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater - Wantagh

The light show was very amusing but the address on ticket master took you to the stadium and not the light show. a lot of cars were there confused. The address on the website takes you to a random address. it was a half hour before we found the actual lights. the actual lights themselves were very nice.

    Expecting more lights

by Minivan on 1/2/24Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater - Wantagh

Too dark to get there. Not much sings to direct people coming from long Beach. Espect more lights over the cars, cars next to us didn't lets us see the other side of the lights.

    Something to do Xmas Eve

by RobLesSol on 1/2/24Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater - Wantagh

This was our first time. It was ok, I nice way to spend an hour. It wasn't the best lights I have ever seen, but we bought popcorn, listened to Christmas music and drove through on Christmas Eve.

Poor Traffic control / too crowded

by Momma Smalls on 1/2/24Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater - Wantagh

The lights were great to see when we finally got in. Traffic was poorly directed / controlled. Over an hour sitting in traffic just to get in. People drove up on the shoulder and were driving off and on the road to get ahead of others. Traffic could have been directed and handled better. Im not sure it was worth the long wait to get in. But it was festive and fun. So glad I got the cheaper weekday ticket. Not worth another cent!

    Lights Need to be Updated

by swingkid25 on 1/2/24Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater - Wantagh

The Magic of Lights is affordable and cute. However, you should be able to scan your tickets from the Ticketmaster app. There needs to be more lines to move traffic along, and they need to replace lightbulbs as needed.

    could be better

by cfromnj on 1/2/24PNC Bank Arts Center - Holmdel

this is a yearly tradition for me and my children. Although we go every year, I wouldn’t say it’s the best. I feel like it’s always the same just rearranged in different ways. It would be nice to see new things yearly while driving. The village is really cute, but could be organized a little better. My daughters did the letters for Santa and there was just a mess everywhere, no space. people were everywhere and not taking their turns. I think it would help if there were people working at each station of the village, so it stayed a little more organized.

    It was just OK

by Gee on 1/2/24PNC Bank Arts Center - Holmdel

With the capabilities available in lighting effects, I think the displays could have been better. Time it to music on the station. The Village left very little to be desired and the amount of dogs allowed in the Village made no sense to me. The skating rink was poorly put together. There was no skating but rather than walking across the tiles. Idk. Not the best for those of us that drove 1 1/2 hours to see it

    Amazing!

by Barbie on 1/2/24Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater - Wantagh

The lights were beautiful. The displays were amazing. The holiday village was so nice. So much to see and do. Great gift store. Great food and drinks. Loved the smores. Absolutely loved the trees in the village and the Barbie display. Can't wait to go again in 2024.

    Nice lights, village overpriced

by M Thomas on 1/2/24PNC Bank Arts Center - Holmdel

The lights are fabulous, the village was overpriced. $10 to decorate a cupcake. $12 to ice skate on a tiny rink for 30 minutes.

    Magic of Lights

by Sam on 1/2/24PNC Bank Arts Center - Holmdel

Mediocre, did not meet the expectations. It was not worth the price. With the new technology and low power consuming LED lights, it could have been done better, in my opinion.

Possibly the worst holiday lighting event, ever!

by Jack on 1/2/24PNC Bank Arts Center - Holmdel

Purchased 2 tickets for a Saturday evening and I have seem houses with better lighting than this one. I've been to a few states in the US for their holiday lighting events and thought that the NJ one will be up to par. Without exaggerating, I would say it was about 10% of what is held in other states. The food place was just as bad. Never again will I go and worse take out-of-state visitors to the unspectacular event.

    Don’t eat the food

by John S on 1/2/24PNC Bank Arts Center - Holmdel

The light show was spectactular and the flow of vehicles was well controlled. However this venue known for its food being a grade above garbage kept its reputation again. The soft pretzels were hard as a rock and not only a leftover from previous days but stacked on the bottom to insure they would never warm. The hot chocolate was like pure syrup and we needed water, lots of it, to dilute. Long story short just don’t eat there.
