  • Les Miserables

Les Miz was one of the best shows I ever attended. Current staging, set design & cast members are Broadway quality. So nice to be able to see a show of this caliber at the Hollywood Pantages theater.šŸ¤—

  • Fabulous Show

I’ve seen Les Mis several times and this performance was the best. Incredible voices and I’m certain the sets keep improving.

  • All good but the tempo!

by Kelly B. on 10/21/25Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

I love Les Miserables. I’ve seen in live in London once before, and that show was GREAT. This one was good. My main criticism is that the tempo was faster than typical, so it was hard to hear all the lyrics, and the whole feel of the show was rushed. I wanted to be caught up in the story but instead felt rushed through the story. The positives were that the cast were great quality, and the set was very good. But all in all, I don’t think I would pay to see it live again as long as the tempo remained sped up.

  • One of my favorite musicals!

by Rick on 10/20/25Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

This is the 3rd time I've seen Les Miserables and it remains one of my favorite Broadway musicals of all time. Overall performances were fantastic, with great vocals and heartfelt emotions. I occasionally listen to the soundtrack and it's just a real treat to experience the live performance at the Pantages Theater. Definitely recommended for all ages!

  • Great Show!

Great show! Great music! Great set pieces! This is my first time seeing this show and I can tell that it has adapted with technology over the years in a good way. It doesn’t distract from the core quality of the performance and the show. I would watch again.

  • My fave

by Ceis on 10/17/25Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve been a fan of Les MisĆ©rables since the 10th anniversary special performance. I’ve see it every time it’s presented to my area. We thoroughly enjoyed this touring cast. I believe this is my second time seeing Nick as Valjean. My only criticism is I feel like some of the music/lyrics are rushed a bit and I don’t know if that’s because of a time situation. My preference, of course is the true raw emotion and have it played out as it should be and not rushed. Also, as previously seen at the Pantages, I believe the set is a little dark, but overall 9 out of 10.

I love Le Mis, have seen it over twenty times. Saw the original broadway cast and the original staging. This performance was not up to the standard that you expect of this great musical. Maybe I’m a purist, but this presentation left me a little disappointed. The cast was miss-cast in certain rolls. Some voices were not up to the standard expected. The staging was in my opinion poor and some of the added comedic lines not needed. The saving grace was the words being sung. How can you not love, ā€œto love another person is to see the face of godā€.

  • Understudies Can Knock Your Socks Off

by Artful Dodger on 10/15/25Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

We saw the matinee on Sunday, October 12th. When we saw that the main role of Jean Val Jean was to be played by the understudy, Randy Jeter we were a bit taken back. The actor was just okay in Act One, but hit his stride in Act Two. When Randy sang "Bring Him Home"we and most of the audience were sobbing. So while that was a pleasant surprise, the actor (Lamont J. Whitaker) who went on as Randy's usual role of the Bishop was beyond brilliant. His strong singing voice brought depth to a small but pivotal role. IMHO, Mr. Whitaker should be considered to play Val Jean or Javert. I do not know him, so this is not some uncle or friend plugging for him. I will be looking for his name in the future and will not be surprised to see his name at the top of a program.

  • Best cast I have ever seen

by Hammer on 10/15/25Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

This is my favorite story, favorite play, and this cast is by far the best I have ever seen. I saw the touring show at Pantages a few years ago and it fell flat in my opinion -- hardly any emotion. This performance was spectacular. They brought me to tears 6 times in the first act alone. The dynamic range, the stage presence, the emotion, the genuine portrayal of the characters...even characters that I am not drawn to (I'm not typically impacted by the Cosette/Marius arc, honestly) still landed beautifully to me because the performers were so good. As much as I loved the primary leads, Christian Mark Gibbs was a stand-out performer in my mind: his portrayal of Enjolras (leader of the revolutionaries) was so powerful and captivating. His vocal dynamic range is ... awe inspiring. I cannot recommend this tour/group/cast any higher. I am so glad my daughters and I were able to see this phenomenal show performed so fabulously.

  • An amazingly great production

by KTK on 10/15/25Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

This is the second time I have seen Les Miz and it gets better and better. This production was outstanding, great vocals, exceptional production value, terrific staging. Of course, I love the play and will likely see it again if it comes to town and I am able. One big problem, not enough time during intermission for a restroom break. Perhaps they can hold the curtain until everyone is back in their seats? Anyway, I can't say enough about the greatness of this production.

  • Absolutely magnificent! Best performance ever

by DD on 10/15/25Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Each and everyone of the performers had the most wonderful voices and gave their all. Wish I could see it again, immediately!

  • A Must-See Musical

by Naomi on 10/15/25Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

I enjoyed this musical tremendously. The performances from each character were outstanding, including the performances from the children. If you enjoy musicals, this is a must-see show.

  • Excellent, heartfelt, fabulous!

by Dawnn on 10/15/25Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

This was a master performance by all who took part in it from the Orchestra to the younger actors, to the veteran actors… Victor Hugo would be very proud at the way his story was conveyed…

  • Great cast and sets.

  • Great Performance of Les Mis

by CA Chris on 10/14/25Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

We arrived about 30 seconds after the official start time, so unfortunately we were not allowed in for the first three songs, so get there on time (there was a huge traffic jam at the parking lot - and there ended up being about 100 people in the lobby with us by the end of Valjean's Soliloquy). After that - the performance was great. Les Mis is an epic, sweeping, historical story with romance, revolution and tragedy, and the cast delivered. I really felt Valjean's conflict, and Fantine's plight was truly moving. The revolutionary leader was also exceptionally stirring. I saw this on Broadway 20 years ago, and while the set design was not quite as grandiose (how could it be if only installed for 3 weeks) - the acting and singing was on par with my memory.
