  • Elite Talent

by Candace on 2/24/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

This tour was fantastic. I love Les Miserables and try to see it whenever I can. This was the best one I’ve seen in Chicago by far! The Valjean, Fantine, Eponine and a particularly good Enjolras characters were cast so well. They were incredibly talented! Midwest Broadway isn’t NY or London, but I felt that those cast members had elite talent levels. It was a pleasure to see and would highly recommend!

  • Amazing show.

Excellent character build up in the first act. Second act grab at your emotions. Child actors are integral in the heart string engagement. Just Wow!

  • Simply Spectacular!

    by A. O. on 2/23/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

From beginning to end, the show is worth every penny. The cast, the scenography and the adaptation to the stage was simply spectacular!. Being a theater goer, I was very eager to see the director's view and adaptation of the play to the stage, scenography changes, the illumination, the sound effects and even the background images. The ACTING and singing! WOW... !... Very Happy and pleased. ! Well done. Congrats to everyone...

  • Wonderful performance!!

by Denise on 2/23/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The performance was amazing! However, little did we know that to get into the theater would take so long! Try to have your ticket with a bar code as opposed to in Apple wallet format. It takes the scanner much longer to read the Apple Wallet.

  • Disappointed

by Sunday Feb 19th on 2/22/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

Was excited to attend. Upholstered chairs, carpets or something smelled musty in the theater. I am 5’9” tall. My partner is 5’2” tall. There was zero room to maneuver in the seats. The seat in front of us was so close that our knees and after wedging legs on an angle our calves were pinched & so uncomfortable that we left shortly after intermission. I understand that this is an older theater. Can definitely appreciate its beauty but with ticket costs being what they are comfort should be a given.

  • We Loved It!

by MommaW on 2/22/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

My daughters and I decided to start going to plays to celebrate our birthdays. We saw Wicked in November and now we’ve seen Les Miserables in February. Without a doubt Les Miz was the most amazing production. We laughed, we cried and we loved the entire show. Thank you!

  • Amazing

We have Seen Les Miserables a few times. This cast blew me away. Just when you think there's no way they can outdo themselves, they prove you wrong. The only down side is we didn't get tickets to see it again while it is in Chicago! If you have the opportunity, you will not be disappointed

  • One of the best plays of all time!!

    by Clinton L on 2/22/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

We had such a great experience! The show is amazing from start to finish! This will go down as one of my favorite players of all time that I’ve ever seen.

One of the most beloved and classic musical ever. The cast was marvelous. They were action packed without sacrificing on their singing performance at all.

  • Lived Up to Every Expectation

by Sophie on 2/22/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

My dad and I have been avid fans of Les Miserables for my entire life, but this was my first time seeing it performed live and our first time seeing it together. We were both unbelievably overwhelmed by the set designs and details, as well as the performances. I was emotional for practically the entire musical. Eponine was an absolute stand out, she was impeccable and I loved the actress's portrayal of Eponine's playful, witty nature. I would see this show every opportunity if I could, I would recommend this show to anyone and everyone.

  • Outstanding Performance

by Gary on 2/22/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

I have seen Les Miserables 4 times in my life. This production was by far the best. The casting director should win an award, and the set designer should as well. I would recommend this play to anyone who wants to experience theater at its best.

  • Amazing

by Carin on 2/22/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Love this show so much - the cast, the music- performances were top notch from everyone, but I especially liked Jean Valjean, Fantine and the Thenardier's. My almost-12 year old daughter who has gotten into theater the last 2 years loved it as well.

  • My ALL TIME favorite musical

by Vegitoboi on 2/22/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

I have loved watching Les Miserables ever since I saw it on Broadway in New York back in 2001. I always try to get a ticket for a performance every time they are in Chicago. This rendition was done really well. One of the best casts that I have seen over the years.

  • Amazing!

by Joe on 2/22/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

This was an amazing production of a great story. The music was original cast recording quality! Do not miss a chance to see this.

  • Musical or Opera?

by AO on 2/22/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

Staging, set, acting, singing, and sound were all superb. I do wish that there had either been an easily accessible synopsis in the playbill, or surtitles to aid in comprehension. The first half of Act One was completely incomprehensible to those not familiar with the story. I also wonder why this is advertised as a musical, when it is clearly an opera - both in its lack of spoken word and in its singing style. Is it just to make it more accessible to an audience scared of opera? Although I personally keep trying to like opera, I don't care for the singing style, so was disappointed to find myself listening to an opera. Only Eponine's vocal style was one I could really enjoy.

  • Les Miserables

by Southside Chicago on 2/22/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The 02/19/23 performance at 2pm was fabulous. I purchased 6 tickets including Event Ticket Insurance. One of our group was feeling ill, so I tried to file a claim for her and her spouse. The Allianz Global Assistance website required a doctor’s report for her which I did not have nor would I provide due to privacy concern (is that even legal? HIPPA?) Their customer service was of no help. I am surprised this Event Ticket Insurance vendor was an option on the Ticketmaster website when I purchased the tickets. Will never do that again and definitely do not recommend. I was however very easily able to sell the two available tickets on Ticketmaster website.

  • The best performance I've ever seen.

by Haley on 2/22/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

This was by far the best theater performance I have ever seen. Every single performer was at the top of their game. It was incredibly moving and well executed - I would see it 100 more times.

  • Enjoyed the play

by Dee on 2/22/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Well organized with before instructions - however for us older adults, the use of your phone for the ticket was a little confusing. After the performance, the staff was over aggressive in trying to get people out of the theater. There was a long line for the bathroom so this created a delay. The staff were not concerned about this delay and only were interested in clearing the theater The play was fantastic - costumes, set, actors, etc. - excellent. Perhaps because of my age = I often found it difficult to recognize who was singing.

  • Play was incredible!

by Krista on 2/21/23Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Les Miserables was absolutely incredible! It was well cast and it was unforgettable, even though this was my 3rd time seeing it. I would not do the suite pass again because they didn't let us in until 1:20 p.m. We paid $40 a person extra to have drinks and snacks for 45 min before the 2pm show. Couldn't even get down there until almost 1:30 and had to be in our seats by 2 or be locked out. So, basically paid $40 a person for 25 minutes. We could also go to the suite for intermission. Intermission was only 15 min, so had to run down, grab a drink and run back. Didn't even get to enjoy the suite. My recommendation would be that suite pass holders are let in in a separate line an hour before showtime, so they get what time they are entitled to and paid for. Half hour intermission would have been much better also. It just made it stressful when it didn't need be. Other than the suite issue, the show was wonderful and the paying ahead for marking was great!

  • Awesome!
