The magnificent score of LES MISÉRABLES includes the songs "I Dreamed a Dream," "On My Own," "Bring Him Home," "One Day More" and many more.

  • +Les Mis---wonderful

    by ejmw316 on 11/26/12Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Voices of the participants were outstanding. The only complaint I have is that it was a little too loud during the first act. It actually hurt my ears at times. I don't know if I was in the direct line of a speaker or not, but it was very loud--in fact, my seat vibrated at times. Otherwise, I thought the production was first class.

This is my girlfriend's favorite play. I've never been to a play. The set pieces were pretty cool. She really loved it.

I had never seen the show before, because I thought it would be depressing. I was wrong and the show, while serious, was truly uplifting, and a delight. Brilliant songs, skillfully performed by an enthusiastic cast on an amazing set. SEE THIS SHOW!!

  • Best Les Mis show I've seen yet!!

    by YoYo1993 on 11/26/12Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

I was in a local version of Les Miserables 2 years ago, and I have been a loving fan ever since!! Last year my dad and I saw it in Chicago and it was absolutely AMAZING!! A friend of mine had told me that she loved the music but had never seen the show, so we bout 2 tickets in a "limited viewing seat," which really didn't limit the viewing during the show!! We both agreed that it was absolutely BREATHTAKING!! Mr. and Mrs. Thénardier were so funny, you could really tell that they were really playing their roles as the characters!! I felt as though Éponine and Javert stole the stage away with their voices, because they made it so musical!! Overall it was the best I've ever seen it done, and I'm so glad that I got to see it again. If I had the chance I would see it over and over again, and I would definitely recommend it to all of my friends and family!!

  • Les Miserables

The production was excellent. The music is beautiful and the actors had wonderful voices, particularly Peter Lockyer (Jean Valjean) and Andrew Varela (Javert). The emotion of the characters was palpable and I remained captivated throughout the production. We live in Indianapolis and went to see a performance of Les Miserables some months back which was interrupted mid-production by a lightening strike. We decided to travel to Chicago to see the whole production and it was well worth the trip.

Les Miserables at the Cadillac Theater is Chicago was phenomenal! The theater is beautiful and the cast outstanding. The role of Eponine was one of the best singers I have heard! Javert did leave me with goosebumps!

  • Les Miserables - I was miserable too

    by 3daughters83 on 11/25/12Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 2 out of 5

Overall the production was entertaining, the singing was unfortunately not. The most disappointing aspect of the production was the lighting design. The attempt to present a dismal and dreary backdrop resulted in lighting so dim, it was an eye strain to focus and see the actors and sets.

Great Play! Great Music. I loved the historical Epic in this Musical.

  • Great performances abound

by ramom on 11/25/12Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

The performances by all the charactors were strong and emotional. I wish I could have heard all the words, but the orchestral sound was louder than the voices at sometimes. I think this was due to the position of my seat. I prefer to be in the center seats, but there were none available when I purchased my seats.

The show was amazing ! (at least the parts that we could experience and see) The actors, the orchestra, superb! The cast was fabulous! Our seats were terrible, so the sounds and sights were not as great as they should have been!

  • too long

  • Amazing Show!

    by Ej66 on 11/25/12Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

I was very impressed by the level of performance. I knew that the actors, musicians and crew were going to be amazing so I set the bar rather high, but I was blown away. There were many clever tricks used on stage to make the story better and I enjoyed all of them. The only downside was my seat. I sat in the dress circle and seeing over other patrons was difficult.
