Phenomenal Show
by Squad171 on 10/19/17Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5I saw the same Cameron Mackintosh production of Les Miserables in June of 2016 before it closed on Broadway and thought the show was excellent then. I think it is even better now. The cast was stronger as a whole on tour than it was on Broadway despite having the legendary John Owen Jones as Valjean on Broadway. Every actor and actress was crisp and their voices well suited for their roles. The sets were the same ones I saw last year and the production was as enjoyable the second time as it was the first time. I cannot recommend this classic enough. If you have any interest in musical theater and wish to see a timeless story of redemption with divine music paired with angelic voices, then Les Miserables is a must see and this production is about as good as it gets.
