  • Basketball Screens Curve Signficiantly

by Dran on 11/1/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

When sitting at the ends of the arena you will experience some issues with viewing the screen. the screens are rectangular so when you're sitting on the long sides of the screen there is no problem, but in the ends the curve takes up a larger % of the screen. For this event it made it quite difficult to see the minimap and summoner icons. Not a huge deal, but it was a concern for almost all of the people sitting in that section.

  • Bad experience

by Kenny on 11/1/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 1 out of 5

I sat at front, it was very hard to see the screen above. It made us feel very bad, pay more money for front seats, but worst experience.

  • Dream come true

by Xixi on 10/28/22Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

It was so amazing to see Faker playing at group stage in New York. I have always been a huge fan of him and I am super happy to make it to his game days! It’s also grateful to see other teams performing extremely well in 2022 worlds championship, and audience are very enthusiastic!

  • It was good but not the stage I wanted.

by Yomenmeister on 10/26/22Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

Listen, when I heard that League Quarterfinals were gonna be in MSG I did NOT expect to go into an arena where I could throw a football onto the stage from the last row. I remember watching TL vs TPA in the ACTUAL MSG arena and that was the experience that actually got me to play league. And I know that MSG can be expensive but weren't there announcements about league being the biggest game in the world and breaking viewership records? Honestly games were hella good. But the venue was so underwhelming i almost watched the last day at a bar with free food and C9 Jerseys. Their screen was closer and bigger than the one in Hulu theater anyways.

  • I really want to go this semifinal

  • Excellent esports experience

by Reece on 10/24/22Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

I attended the League of Legends World Championship Quarterfinals, and the first two days of games on Thursday and Friday were a bit disappointing (besides getting hype for T1 absolutely stomping their 'rivals' RNG). However the excitement elevated to a whole new level on the next two days. Saturday and Sunday were the best 2 series in the past 6 years. The crowd was spectacular every day of the event with many like-minded and excited people. I'm sure most of the crowd was looking forward to these matches for months just like me. The energy was unmatched and chants for both teams roared through the audience throughout the entire event. I had the time of my life. Hype moments to heartbreaking split second downfalls. If you enjoy esports or have the slightest interest in gaming, do yourself a favor and show up to a League of Legends live experience.

  • Not allowing reentry was a mistake

by Blake on 10/19/22Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

Entry moved very fast, but not allowing reentry to the event was awful. Its a 6+ hour long event, sometimes there were 2-3 hour breaks in between the same team playing so fans of one team were forced to watch the other games since they couldnt leave. The event also ran right through dinner without any decent food inside.

  • Week 2 Friday/Saturday

by Ajig on 10/18/22Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

It was an amazing experience. I went with 2 friends we’re all been playing from beta, even before that if you include DOTA from WC3TFT. We couldn’t have been more excited to go. Have worlds we took the train back from and talk about our experience. Another group of people (4) over heard us and joined in, they had just spent week2 Thursday-Saturday and this was the general consensus. Everyone had an amazing time watching the matches. We all felt that the seating wasn’t conducive for talk people. In this now group of 7 talking there was 5 people over 6 feet tall and found the seating almost unbearable. The hype guy from stage seemed now to be able to reach the middle to rear of the lower seating making them basically on eligible to get any of the free merch he was tossing to the fan’s and the “hype team” was on the path separating the lower seating to the upper seating only doing the upper seating. Witch on our first day affected us witch totally sucked, maybe feel after awhile there was no point in getting amped up because you knew there was no way you’d have a shot at getting anything. Secondly we could the merch selection you could purchase to be extremely small, and there wasn’t a spot to get any team merch. We felt that to be a total miss play. You just watched GAM take down TES and like man, I wanna get some GAM merch but couldn’t. There seemed to be plenty of room on the left and right side of the theater as you walked down to your seats from the “main lobby.” We also felt that it would have been cool to have the players individual stats going vertically in front of the computer they were stationed at on the monitors surrounding the tables. We felt that the table monitor definitely could’ve been used for some type of statistics instead of just a blank information with the team’s color. Also, that the screens behind the players could have been used for something as well. For example, maybe but the play by play called up there, so you could see how hyped they were getting after an amazing play happen/replay when they had one going durning a “down” turn in the game like they do when you watch from online. Over all I’d say a solid 8 outta 10. Can’t wait for Worlds to come back to NA hopefully in a bigger stadium. See ya on the Rift!

  • The Vibes are Immaculate

by M. H. on 10/17/22Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

If you really enjoy e-sports, specifically LoL, there is no bigger and grander event than multinational LoL events like MSI and Worlds. There may be technical issues, which can last a while and is sometimes annoying, but if you are around the right people, which there will definitely be, time passes by quickly.

  • Super awesome

  • Awesome Game

by Crear on 10/17/22Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

The game was awesome, it would be better if I could get the ticket for next week (but it's sold out)

  • Good league, meh venue.

by Blueredemption on 10/17/22Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

I enjoyed the games, especially GAM TES, and the casters and desk being in sight was awesome. That's about it though. Covid made it so sometimes the entire teams weren't on stage, the area outside the actual seating was really bland and expensive (tbh expected), and the merch was limited. No specific team stuff at all, no poros, no pengus. As much as i was elated to have worlds in NA, NY City was not the right choice. Especially with the construction entering the theatre.
