GOODS: Seats are comfier that many stadiums, layout is smart everyone has a decent view regardless of how far back you are. Crowd was awesome, very positive fans here - I love these people!
BADS (MANY): Security seem to be operating independent of any rules, doing whatever they feel regardless of published event rules, and treating everyone like we’re new grunts at Army Bootcamp. Arriving: prepare to be yelled at. Event AND venue pages said water bottles (either sealed or empty) are OK? Doesn’t matter, throw them all out! That’s on day 1 and 3 - apparently days 2 and 4 empty ones are fine!! Not that those empty water bottles are going to do you any good - there’s only one water fountain in the whole venue, it’s hidden in a dark corner, old as dirt with pressure so low you’ll have to kiss the metal to get any water. No chance on filling bottles. Good luck staying hydrated during your 7-9 hour stay here without multiple $6 water bottles.
Bathrooms up top and also in venue down below. Great in size and proximity. One janitors job includes standing in the bathrooms and educating everybody where these are. I feel like having signage, even as arrows on the floor, would have helped tell everyone about the kind of hidden ones in the theater. But then low and behold, the out-of-control security decided to randomly block access to the theater bathrooms on two of the days! And yes, that janitor was still in the main bathroom telling every to go to those (now closed) ones!
Drinks - more options would be nice, but OK overall. The sizes are a nice plus.
Food - Feels like a pop up fundraiser at a high school basketball game. Only two condiments (K+M), you can forget the rest. Hot dogs were a good size, but at $9 you better get more than a OscarMeyer wiener. Burgers are insane - if you’re going to charge $15 for a burger or chicken sandwich, you should at least throw a couple topping on there. Forget the sides. I could almost forgive these insane prices if the variety was there - how much effort does it really take to have a couple more condiments, onions/tomato/lettuce for all the sandwiches, and sweet potato fries as an option? Right now, the food feels straight out of a 1980s school food court club fundraiser. Grade: D-
