My children had a blast! Perfect size theatre so everyone can see! It was an unforgettable day for all of us! My children are 3 and 1 1/2 and they danced and sang along the entire show! Overall it was a fantastic, memorable experience!
The Laurie Berkner Band was awesome. I have a 3 year old son it was his experience at a concert like this and he loved it. He sang and danced the whole time. It was the perfect size venue too!
My sister and I took a 4 year old and 6 year to this show. Both enjoyed the songs and dances. I loved watching them have a great time!
The show was great and really catered to the kids. There was plenty of dancing in the isles, you could bring cameras, and everyone had a fantastic time.
Every song was great, whole family LOVED it! Laurie is a great entertainer. They sounded better in person than on TV or CD!
I was disappointed when I could not get tickets. But luckily I found tickets and the hour drive was SO worth it!!! My daughter has fun listening or watching on TV but no comparison to LIVE Laurie!! We had a BALL!!! Thank you for what you do!!! You bring JOY to all of us!!!! You are SO appreciated!!! Keep singing!!!!
Laurie Berkner put on an amazing show. SHe was soo energenic, entertaining & interactive with the audience! It was such a fun show. All the kids were up & dancing. She came to the edge of the stage several times & gave the kids High 5's! This was my sons first concert, hes 21 months old & Loved it! We will definitely be seeing her again. The Opera House is really unique looking & spacious. The bathrooms were clean, as was the rest of the facility.
We had my 2 kids ages 2 & 3 and my 10 month Old niece and nephew ... Not only were all kids entertained and singing and Dancing so were the adults in our party!
Absolutely amazing children's performer! All the children surrounded the stage! Loved her!!
Have been waiting for Laurie to come to our area for a long time - even though she was solo, it was totally worth it! She is a great musician and great with kids, it was so cool seeing all these little kids going totally crazy over her. You can tell that she probably is a really nice person and a great Mom.
About hour and half show, kids loved it (ages 2 and 4). Great songs with catchy tunes. Kids were out of their seats dancing along.
This was the 3rd time we took our daughter to see Laurie Berkner and the first time without her supporting band. She played 1 1/2 hours and was engaging nonetheless. Great show & great entertainer.
We went to the show at the Bardavon this past weekend. My kids loved singing and dancing along to all the wonderful songs! Days later, they are still talking about the concert. Now only was the concert hall clean and welcoming, but Laurie was an amazing performer - she is extremely talented! We can't wait to see her again!!!
A fun show for the children. For a one woman show, she does a great job keeping the kids entertained. There should have been more beach balls for the kids in the balcony since they all ended up over the balcony railing leaving the kids in the balcony feeling excluded. The person who doled out the beach balls, from the balcony, should have stayed there to give out a few more as they were bounced over the railing to the orchestra level. Front row balcony seats are very nice seats for adults, however, the kids feel a bit removed from the action. In the future we'll get orchestra seats provided they are not as expensive as they were for this show ($100). I feel that $100 a seat for a performance for children is ridiculous and excludes an entire demographic of children (sad). We paid $36 for balcony seats which was a somewhat more appropriate price for a childrens show

We went to see them in Longwood Gardens in PA last year, and now in New York City this year. The is such an amazing band, my children absolutely love them! Normally if a song gets sung on stage that they don't know they just sit down. Not at a Laurie Berkner concert. They stand up and dance the whole time, and even try to learn the songs they've never heard. We even had the privilege to meet the band after the show, and Susie, Bobby, Adam, and Laurie were all kind, down-to-earth people. The kind of people you would welcome into your homes. Do not miss this event if you have young children and the opportunity. You'll thank yourself for going. You will have just as good of a time as your children!
