My kids just loved the concert. Since we were in the VIP section, we were able to meet with Laurie after the show. What a magical experience! She really took time with each family. Thank you Laurie!!!!

    Laurie Berkner rocks!

by BerknerBiggestFan on 12/11/13The Concert Hall - New York

We got VIP tickets so we got to meet and chat with the Laurie Berkner! She chatted with us like we were old pals. We always felt like we were buddies since we grew up with her music but we did not expect her to feel the same. What a pleasant surprise!

    wow, great show

by iceskater007 on 12/10/13The Concert Hall - New York

I don't usually go to shows. Of any kind. The random ballet or cool musician in town, maybe. However, I consider myself a tough critic. Which is why I never go. Having said that I LOVED this show. My daughter who is 4 and a half loved this show! My husband even loved this show and he's over 50yr. The music was so tight, the outfits where beautiful. The stage was simple and festive. The venue was so cozy and intimate, perfect for kids. Even the music volume was perfect(not too loud). The two other shows we've seen(and had to leave)were so loud I was quite relieved to see that they paid attention to these fine details I've mentioned. We are all I big fan of the band. My daughter has been singing LB songs for 2 years now and they are all wonderful, silly, fun and perfect for family listening. I would definately see her again. Hpefully at another small venue.

    lauries holiday show

by happyholidaydad on 12/10/13The Concert Hall - New York

Laurie is hands down the best musical act for kids going. She plays the most sofisticaticated music they will hear in this genre, but with a smile and a warm heart. This may not have been her best show, but I look forward to years of listening to Laurie.! As a dad, watching river go by is my favorite, but our son likes dinosaur, catch me, etc. ! Our five year old was in the aisle dancing and googling this time. !

    LBB fan approved

by PolishedMom on 12/10/13The Concert Hall - New York

Very much enjoyed the Holiday Celebration Concert. From the beginning to the end the kids were all entertained. Even as a parent I was clapping and singing along, happily. I was not happy with the venue, Concert Hall. It's more of a church hall than a concert hall. There was no area for food and/or beverages or any place to buy LBB souvenirs. Will gladly see Laurie Berkner again, just not at this location.

My kid loved it but total snooze alert for the adults. Very long but I guess that's good for the money.

Had a great time at the concert! We took two five year olds and they loved it! It was nice that Laurie and the band incorporated not only their usual fun songs but also songs for both Christmas and Hanukkah!

    Laurie Berkner was high energy--fabulous!!

by Anonymous on 12/4/13Tilles Center Concert Hall - Greenvale

Excellent concert~the children had a ball!! My granddaughter Isabella was on her feet the entire concert!! When she got home, she kept playing the Buzz, Buzz CD in her new CD player! However, after spending alot of money to be in the first row--we had uncomfortable folding chairs to sit on, too close to the people on your side and way too close up. We ended up moving our seats to where there was availability in the 2nd section!!! Tilles should not do that and charge what they did.

    Laurie is the bomb!

by TrollingMama on 11/5/13Palace of Fine Arts - San Francisco

Over $50/ticket for a children's concert? Well Laurie really is exceptional. Her voice is so beautiful that even her laugh is lyrical. I was mesmerized. She also has a great way of getting the crowd (i.e. children and parents) involved. I would wax on if my phone weren't so slow.

    Laurie Berkner Rocks!

by IzzyEmy on 11/5/13Palace of Fine Arts - San Francisco

We have been waiting for Laurie to come to our side of the country for years! She arrived just in time for both my girls to enjoy. She was fun, enthusiastic and her songs were just as funny and meaningful as they are on the CDs we listen too incessantly! My daughters were enthralled with the music and the movement. Even my husband, who was brought along reluctantly, enjoyed himself. It was fabulous family time and I would do it again in a heart beat!

    Laurie Berkner was amazing!

by 4r3girls on 5/22/13Palace Theatre Columbus - Columbus

Fantastic concert for the preschool set! The band was wonderful! The kids really felt part of the show as she involved them in singing & during 1 song they held up a light/star from parent's phone! The kids in the Palace theater all were up & dancing & singing! My 4 year old danced the whole time! Fun, unbeat show! I did notice a few kids (younger)eventually fell asleep in parent's arms, so maybe a concert @1p not ideal time for kids this age! My daughter slept for the whole 1 1/2 hour ride home!

    word of caution

by HIstaff on 5/20/13Palace Theatre Columbus - Columbus

The Lori Berkner concert was fun and my grandchildren enjoyed it. I have a decibel meter app on my phone and it often registered over 100 decibels. It was sustained above 90 decibels which was loud enough for a long enough period of time to cause permanent hearing loss. Since the target audience was small children it would be respectful to keep the volume of the concert at a level that does not hurt them.
